question aboud PVP death

A freelancer had attacking me in the manchester system and I had
defend me. Then I see that he is not so good as I and then I begunn to play with him.
After 10 minutes I was tedious.and I want to destroy him.I flew up to him and start a Torpedo run.I avoidet and one of the torpedo hit him ,he was destroyed after few seconds the other torpedo explode and destroy me.Is that a PVP death or normal death(my own
incompetence).

You both died a pvp death. You're death was a direct result of the fight between you two (meaning - you didn't choose to die, and if the fight wouldn't ensue you wouldn't have died either)
