How long has it been? So long that nobody really knows anymore. a few days after we got the refugees safely off world, we were hit by Gallic airpower. Lost the only radio capable of broadcasting off world. We're barely functioning as it is. Most of the vehicles are worn out from months of movement and fighting.

We made it to the outlands without much trouble. the Gauls seem concentrated on the population centers, but they've been venturing out into the boonies of late. We've seen a lot of transports, so they must be flying in more troops to settle the ground war before any counter offensive.

We picked up what stragglers we could, including an AA unit and some field medics, and made base camp in an old unused mine. Patrols traveled out and raided gallic convoys, but it was barely enough to sustain us.

The last Patrol checked out an abandoned town. it was really eerie. Everyone was gone. just vanished, probably taken away to some Gallic labor camp. They managed to salvage a new radio from the remains of a police station.

With it, we might be able to raise command on it and get some long needed help and resupply..

Made contact with what is left of Command here on Leeds. A Major General Williams, R. Says he has some walkers, armor, a few arty and a battalion of infantry. Odds and sods mostly. A patrols being sent out to meet them at RV 'Ghost Town' to check and retrieve them back here.

Those unmarked transports have been increasing in number lately. Various civilian models, no markings. Suspected to be shipping in weapons and equipment. Sightings have also increased of unknown equipment, suspected rheinland manufactured. OPS Cell has been brainstorming downing one of the transports to check whats inside. We'd be utilizing the SPAAs we picked up a while ago.

Supply situation is precarious, but that general says he gets one transport a week dropping off supplies for him. I think its about time, thats shared around.

An early log entry, to note occurring operations.
- Patrol 2-4, codename 'Onyx', en route to RV 'Ghost Town' to meet with Williams.
- Patrol 2-6, codename 'Granite', with elements of AA units, codename 'Starfall', moving to Ambush site for Operation 'Metal Rain'.
- Patrol 3-1, codename 'Slate', salvage and scavenging operations.

Remaining units either actively guarding 'Lodestone' or on mandated downtime.

William's message was quite the nice way to convey the good news without letting the cat out of the bag. The Tea Party looks set to be a big affair.
Hopefully the guests will be able to help with the catering. I sent a nice note to them inquiring about the arrangements.

'Granite' and 'Starfall' should be in position by now. The Op is moving ahead of schedule, so results should be in quicker. The question is now: Will we like the results? I don't think so, but that's just a soldier's intuition for danger.

'Starfall' and 'Granite' are currently RTB. Operation 'Metal Rain' was a total success. The salvage can be checked out once they return, to see what these mysterious transports have been up to.

'Slate' has returned to base after their patrol. Building materials and other useful salvage were recovered. Parts are now being used to patch up and modify our vehicles.

No word yet from 'Onyx'.

'Outrider' reports sighting other units. transmission to be sent out soon.

End of Entry.
