Does anyone know a way to give the Freelancer/Discovery task highest priority for net bandwidth?
I'm asking because of this: When I trade, I mostly do it in windowed mode, reading stuff in the internet on the side, or listening to music on the internet, or what ever.
The problem with that is once the web browser starts to download larger stuff like streaming video, music, ads on web pages, it starts to lag the game, and gets worse till I end up disconnecting.
So... is there any way to prevent that by giving max bandwidth to Freelancer and throttle other applications so they dont cause ingame lag?

See if you can limit download speeds of your software.

Yeah, the question is: How?

For example with Chrome or IE or Firefox. Couldn't find a way to do it.

I googled for a minute, found this:
http://firefox-throttle.en.softonic.com/

Maybe try googling yourself.
