Welcome user, i am Vergil, “Metastability” main AI unit, i am serviced to provide any information you may require. As your first time aboard this ship, your Key-Card is the universal access to its allocated areas, should there be a problem, please find a terminal that can be located in multiple areas of the ship.

Communications on this terminal are monitored, both internal and external. The communications hub is active and usable.

I am also protocoled to provide an overwatch program to all guests on the vessel as a security measure for your own safety and for other crew members. I will provide the latest updates on information of any incidents that take place on this ship and sirius wide. Please enjoy your stay.

UTILITY SECTIONS

Usually these sections mainly focus on keeping the ship in working, manageable and efficient condition. Systems such as Life support, navigation, system scanning and basic crew requests are operated by the “Vergil”. Most of these rooms are restricted, and the data to them is also restricted to the same level access card.

[ACCESS RESTRICTED: LEVEL TWO ACCESS CARD REQUIRED]
Room: Bridge
Sector: WHITE

Description: The bridge rather large for its usual occupation team of 2, it houses direct communication and statistic updates to from almost all sections of the ship. Its the main component to piloting the Liner. Although most of it is automated by the ‘Epsilon’ Class AI when present, and the “Metastability” class Supercomputer automated systems. It also allows for Manual (and dangerous) flying of the Liner with a bio-encrypted & “Cyber-key” lock, only allowing the vessel to be flown by authorized and registered personnel. Its linked to the tactical room that can feed information such as environmental statistics to allow for the constant flow of flying conditions in space.

Description: The tactical room is where most major combat operations that involve Land, space and boarding plans take place, from offensive and defensive operations. The information fed to this room also comes directly from the “Metastability”. Chief of “The-Zealous” security team’s are stationed in this room on alert, they’re mostly responsible for the protection of the ship and have full access to Ship schematics in case of enemy boarding action, and are responsible for coordinating any defensive operations. The Tactical room is rarely used, but is present of the possible situations.

Description: Being a prototype built modification, the engineering control room is given ample space to pursue their tasks in monitoring the main systems of a new prototype engine (HTTB-1). These personnel have full access to the ship engine controls par-agreement with the Buro Der Marineintelligenze. And have limited access to the “Metastability” class supercomputer.


Room: Hanger / Docking / Mooring bays

Description: Being a mobile base, the Zealous is fitted with a multitude of smaller vessels for transportation. The docking bays contain temporary docking module and permanent docking storage for ships that are long term residents aboard the vessel. Guests are free to store a minimum of two ships on the liner while short term visitors are allocated to one. Special permissions for ships for more than 2 will need to be requested.

Room: Engineering: A-J17 H-Fuel Reactor Turbine

Description: The original power plant of the Liner, soon to be replaced with a new variant from Rheinland, it was decided that the engine would actually not be completely removed, the power plant would be relocated to another section of the ship and due to its capability to provide plenty energy, it would be moved to another section of the ship and be transformed into the dedicated power source for the “Metastability” class supercomputer.

RECREATIONAL & PERSONNEL SECTORS

Personnel sectors are areas that are more accustomed to the standard of living with crews, having both their own quarters, roaming space and socialization areas, this gives then a regular (or more comfortable) life aboard this vessel, while on duty. Please respect the privacy that each crew member is given.

In keeping with the crews behavior, occupational entertainment sections have been built in the bow sector of the ship, they house multiple areas that can help crew members and guests ease stress and entertain themselves. Although crew numbers are limited, these facilities were left unaltered due to their requirement in keeping the crew happy for later endeavors that might ask more from them. Most facilities came already stock with the Renzu liner and were left unaltered in the construction plans.

Room: Self-Service Bar

Description: Open to guests and crew, this Bar (nicknamed "Reconciliation") Houses an array of alcoholic and soft beverages, able to meet to anyones tastes, coming stock with the Renzu liner, it has the sense of luxury coming from its pure ebony and glazed woodwork, almost a total difference to what crews on regular military ships would experience.

Room: Crew Self-Service Mess hall

Description: Self catering, filled with the standard and luxury foods that can be provided, the crew always need to be able to supply themselves with the nourishment and energy that will be required on their tasks and the Liner has provided a self catering system. Crews can take whatever they want, whenever they want, while all stocks are monitored by an automated system so some don't get too greedy. Also providing more than comfortable seating and furniture to the crews, some may consider themselves lucky for obtaining such a rewarding position, and a rewarding delicacy.

Room: Crew Quarters

Description: Designed for crew comfort in mind, these are a few steps up from the standard quarters given to crew members on Military ships, they are equipped with their own open kitchen, living space and their own single bed. They are also kept with the privacy that most people wish and require. (unless investigations are taking place, Security override will be enforced) Crew members feel entitled to the luxury that they're given compared to most other on-ship facilities.


Room: Crew Quarters Atrium

Description: An open space area with its own plantation. This room connects to all the crew quarters and the crew mess hall, easily knowing their location on the ship and easily roll calling them when needed. It is actually the only area of the ship with large trees (Actually real trees, imported from Curacao!) This is generally the area of the ship where crew members stand out for a bit of sunshine, and see each other before they're on duty, although some do like to set back and relax on the seat and breath in the plant scented air (provided that hay fever isn't a problem) while passing the morning wave and hello to others.


Room: Swimming pool.
Sector: BLACK

Description: A very basic area of "The-Zealous", although mostly favored by the sporty type, this sector has the full facilities to happily enjoy the water sporting activities that are available for the crew and guests, it includes a full sized recreational pool, a long swimming lane, hot tub, sauna and steam room.
Its recommended that only drinks are taken into the facility and only drank away from the water pool areas, staff are not currently employed by the buro although requests for a "Sexy Hispanic" have been put forward.

Room: Holo-simulation room.
Sector: BLACK

Description: Seeming empty in its offline state, this holo-simulation room as capable of replicating almost near to realistic simulations of real life. Although most of its programming has been altered to simulate combat programs and emergency action simulations such as fire drills, boarding action, land assault and much more. It still has the basic base programming to have the occasional days on the beach and a floating sky view or most notably the most favored is the "Void of space" allowing people to peacefully glide in the depths of known star systems.

"METASTABILITY" SECTOR

The metastability is a large scale AI supercomputer that was designed to be a co-ordinate AI with the "Epsilon" Class AI, although lacking in scale of a open learning capability, its made to be fully focused in its assigned tasks. But the main reason it was built was for large scale processing on the go, its one of the most secure systems, using an arrangement of Bio-Metric systems, Brainwave pattern security systems, and fingerprint scanners as well as the high level access card. Everything from internal security, Electronic warfare, data storage, high powered processing and recreational use happens here. The "Metastability" can be accessed physically only by ONI level card holders, except for the ship wide terminals that provide data such as help and support, communications and


[RESTRICTED ACCESS: LEVEL OMNI ACCESS CARD REQUIRED]
Room: "Metastability" Main Supercomputer room

Description: The "Metastability" Supercomputer is an achievement in regards to portable computing power, it is one of the greatest achievements by the Buro and Enfield in regards to its construction, it receives the latest hardware and is fully enabled to automatically adapt to any new installed hardware that is sufficient of support it. It is one of the alrgest sectors of the ship, arounding to 10% of the entire ship placement, it has around 1,000,000 Individual Quantum processing cores made up into 8,000 arrays (200 Cores per array) and This main Supercomputer body is a top-secret project that was designed over the course of months of trial and error, but was completed in due time and also includes its "Vergil" Class AI that is sufficient for the crews comfort and Electronic warfare capability. With limited learning capability and a list of sub-routines that could cause an enemy vessel extreme damage to its systems, it is not a super-computer that can be compromised easily.

Its main subroutines include:
  1. Electronic warfare: Ship disabling, takeover, Electronic Jamming, Data theft, system corruption.
  2. Environmental and System scanning
  3. Ship Identification and schematic construction
  4. "Vergil": Crew comfort and simple command access


[RESTRICTED ACCESS: LEVEL OMNI ACCESS CARD REQUIRED]
Room: "Metastability" Cooling system
Sector: YELLOW

Description: The cooling system is highly sufficient for the "Metastability", since this class of Supercomputer generates an extreme amounts of heat from both its basic Optical chip processing and quantum array computing systems, thus requires both a system that can keep the systems at a optimal rate of 10-15°C for every processor system and the cooling bays are kept at an absolute zero and minimizing moisture levels, anyone who is accessing these areas are advised to be hydrated and at least be in warm clothing when entering this area.

Description: Terminals are the multi-access points to the "Metastability", They are the home computers to everyone on the ship, almost everyone has one in their private quarters and are scattered all over the ship for quick and easy access. They are currently limited on what information can be access and are mainly there to supply information to and from the main Supercomputer. The available activities that can be used by the Terminals are:

  2. ) Communications, Internal and external.
  3. ) Neural net access
  4. ) Basic and advanced computing
  5. ) Schematic Design
  6. ) Log Database
  7. ) Entertainment systems (Video games)

DECK 7 SUPER-QUARTERS | SECTOR: BLUE
[RESTRICTED ACCESS: LEVEL EPSILON ACCESS CARD REQUIRED]

This following sector was written by me (Mr Enfield) Personally, its my quarters and I get to write what I want about it. "This is my quarters, what more of an explanation do you want?"


Room: My Main living area

Description: I sit, chill and have some thing to relax to while I can, the couch was expensive, although what confuses me is that the leather is synthetic, something that I can't get over. Anyway, I got a nice huge TV that has yet to be turned on, I mean... who watches TV? I got a big computer with a direct feed to the neural net and the super computer. Anyway, I got a flower pot and a dining table in here, its better off if I use it at some point. Maybe the table to host a dinner party and the flower pot to smash on someone... Like those action movies.


Room: My Bed

Description: When I'm tired or don't require to recharge my augs or need a little healing from the few gunshot and shrapnel wounds I get on a daily basis. I sleep here, its barely used, the bed even smells fresh, and it annoys me, the mattress is expensive. My wardrobe isn't too shabby, they're just that heap clothing that you can find off the market stalls in Kusari and some high end shops from Rheinland. Possibly the most expensive thing in there is my Graphene armour vest, I don't really wear that though.


Room: My personal medical / technology lab.

Description: Possibly where I sleep the most, its strange. What can I say, it holds almost every tool for me to fix my arm up or put a new enhancement in. Although 'Zeal' mostly takes care of it, so I'm normally the one whos always on the med beds. There is also a desk over there if she needs me to work on her chip, so fixing her up isn't too bad, but i mostly use it to modify or create different forms of weapons by customizing things like the plasma accelerator or the heating element in those rifles made by Daumann but I'll be looking into expanding my weapon manufacturing techniques, maybe look into acquiring full sized machine pressers from Daumann too. The fan doesn't work, I accidently ripped the power cord from its socket when I fell off my chair. (Tip: The dangers of leaning on your chair are true.)


Room: My "Well-stocked" Armoury.

Description: Understanding that I'm a wanted man in many places, and that people do want my head for things I've done in the past, i thought i might equip myself with the means of making sure my head stays intact... Maybe a little over equipped, but I seemed to have found that creating many "personal" weapons have always ended up with them being stockpiled somewhere, so here is a place where I keep my portable laser cutter, spike rifle and possibly the hell on earth of a small High-Explosive-Anti-Tank (HEAT) portable missile system in lock & bio-metric key. (You know, for ground operations or things with really big doors.)


Room: My Bar

Description: I like the small shady bars, I visited Kusari once, and the areas of New Tokyo were flooded with these small private bars that you could only accommodate around five or six people, perfect if you wanted it just to be you and your friends. I decided to shove it into my room, although the range of drinks compared to the other bars is around the same, I just skip the Rheinbeir, I'm not one to drink that.


Room: My Work office

Description: Apparently the living room got too messy, so I had to move all my paper work for both the BDM and my own work into this small room, 'Zeal' didn't like the mess, called me as messy as a "completely fragmented drive." Fortunately I can understand what she means but unfortunately she's right. I never get around to tidying this place up. I also have a big TV in here too... I just keep it on for the ambience.
