Officer Exchange Program - [OEP]

In the interests of formally cementing their long standing Alliance; The Bretonian Police Authority BPA) and Liberty Police Incorporated (LPI-) are hereby instituting an OEP within our respective houses.

The OEP is the Officer Exchange Program, designed for officers of different houses to learn from and assist the police forces of another in hopes of negating manpower shortages. Officers participating in this program will RP their own police charaters from theirhome house while piloting shared specially marked [OEP] police ships when in the host house.


Purpose:

• Exchange and learning of alternate tatics, protocol and methods.
• The exchange of information on smuggler and pirate activies.
• Assistance in combat duties via the use of OEP ships.
• Extention of escort duties of Bretonian and Libertonian transports and convoys via the use of OEP ships.


OEP ship Usage:

• OEP can be log if there is another (Host) Police ship of that side already online; eg When a BPA) is online a LPI- can use a BPA OEP ship. (ask in chat if you log the OEP ship)
• Escorting Bretonian,, Liberty, or other ships not hostile to both house, upto and into the secondary ZOI. Can be used without the host house's police online but limited purely to Scout and escort duties only.
-However, if a OEP ship while fulfilling the above roles sees a crime in commission within scanner range or receives a distress signal from a friendly ship under fire they are allowed to respond making sure all host house laws are properly obeyed and enforced.
• Guest police faction’s house laws are not to be enforced within the host house.
• If a law within the hosthouse collides with your own house’s laws, disengage and stay neutral to avoid any diplomatic tensions
• All Officers participating in this exchange must review all host house laws and diplomatic information prior to loggin an OEP ship.
• And please, return OEP ships to their previous location and properly repaired and loaded.
• Any misuse of equipment or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate and brutal punishment. (Up to and/or including immediate termination)


Zone of Operation:

• Primary Zone of Operations: New London, Cambridge, and Manchester on Bretonia side, New York, California on the Liberty side
• Alberta, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Ontario, Dublin, Leeds, Omega-3, and Newcastle considered secondary ZoI
• Texas should be avoided unless necessary, due to the battlefront and diplomatic issues between the houses of Bretonia, Liberty and Rheinland.


Chat:

• Ask for assistance here if you can't obtain what you need from your own emergency chats or if another police officer is need.
• Pass along information that many be helpful to the other house; Pirate/smuggler movements or threats.
• Only give out information to the other police faction if it does not cause any negative consequences for your own department or house.
