I've been away from the server for over a year, but have time once again to play - and am very excited to see all the changes!
I've started a brand-new FL account, and am starting my life anew as a trader - so of course, I use FL companion to start plotting my trade routes.
Problem is, I'm noticing some discrepancies between what FL Companion lists in terms of system/base ownership, and what is actually in-game.
For example, I had one trade route identified in FLC that took me to planet Leeds, and FLC said Leeds was owned by Bretonia. However, I showed up and saw that the GRN has control of the planet (including docking ring and adjacent trade lanes). Needless to say, everything was ID'd red and I dodged some heavy fire.
My FLC settings have my FL directory listed as my Disco install directory (not the vanilla FL directory), so I think that part is correct? Is there some other directory I should point FLC to?
Or, is there a synch/update I need to perform?
Or, is this simply a limitation of the program, and it's something that I can't correct?
Thanks in advance, I'd like to avoid any similar blunders in the future!

There's a satellite on the far side of Leeds that belongs to BAF. It's dockable only by freighters and lower.

Hooray! Now it all makes sense.
Thank you very much for the quick answer.
I know it's an old post, but it's the right thread...

Sadly, something in the way the system is programmed is giving FL Companion a wobbly. They're both labelled "Planet Leeds", and it looks like FL Companion is only using the elements from the "last" Planet Leeds it finds, assuming it's sorting by key id. Even more sadly I can't dock with the one it's giving prices for since Freelancer never implemented ship garages and in order to make enough cash to do other things a larger ship is required, at least from my perspective.
I don't know if it's deliberate or not in order to throw people off (another mod that shall go unnamed went to great trouble to disable FLCompanion, Datastorm, and every other such tool available), but if it's not could this be fixed somehow in a future release? Or even this one?

Actually, I may have found my error in interpreting things. The 2nd item is there, just buried way down in the list.
