4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?
● The ship is mainly intended to be used as a research vessel, but also as a support vessel during military operations, deep within the Omicrons, where most Rheinland vessels would reach their limits quickly. The Core is very experienced when it comes to opposing the Nomad threat. After refits and upgrades, the vessel will be required to withstand various threats native to Omicrons.
● When it comes to one particular individual commander of the ship, Karl von Schlafenberg would like to be in command of a new flagship of the Seekriegsleitung, Büro warfeet. His original ship, the RNC-Herschel, was given to the Core in exchange for the Megalodon.
● The MEC-Megalodon is a furter step in Büro's efforts in Nomad research and the exploration of the Omicron systems. Much of the BDM| roleplay will be including this ship.
5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planing to achieve on this character?
:: Short term ::
● Refit and upgrade the vessel. These upgrades include armour, sensors, cloaking device and docking bays.
● Explore and map the Omicron systems in chase for various alien materials. Büro requires alien materials for a lot of scientific and weapon projects. Bullhead class is much more powerfull than any other single ship used by the Büro der Marineintelligenz and Omicrons are dangerous place.
:: Long term ::
● Serve as a mobile headquarters of the Büro der Marineintelligenz. Schatten is quite far away from Omicrons and having a secondary HQ this far would be welcome for the Büro and of course much more suitable for this task than just a laboratory on Durban.
● This ship is to be a symbol of the military pact between Core and Büro der Marineintelligenz, so it will be used in accordance to this idea. MEC-Megalodon is to be present on various diplomatic meetings between BDM and primarily with Core. Service on supply missions as an escort vessel is also expected.
● Büro der Marineintelligenz, or Rheinland at all, can't afford full-scale war against the Order, now considered a criminal organization by Rheinland authorities. Small-scale operations can be done using the Megalodon. It will be used against Order supply lines and single targets.

1 - Start of the pact between The Core and Büro der Marineintelligenz. Military and logistical support were discussed and approved, along with the technology exchange idea.
2 - Discussion about the ship exchange. Both parties have exchanged important data about the ships proposed to be exchanged.
3 - Due to the unpleasant encounters between The Order and Büro der Marineintelligenz, both in Omicrons and Rheinland, Karl von Schlafenberg decided to meet The Core authorities in person and give them evidence of some encounters. Here started the idea of cooperation against The Order.

12 - Schlafenberg's idea of putting effort into prototype weapon research, he also requests two sections of Schatten for said research. Communication channel later turns into a discussion between Koch and Schlafenberg about Operation: "Maulwurf" and idea of making much bigger prototype weapons than thought about at the start of this comm.
13 - Idea of recovering the Münster module contents.
14 - Sections of Schatten dedicated to Nomad research. First part is the construstion of a laser drill of universal purpose, including digging into station components, which was important to get into the Münter module. Second part is the examination of the recovered materials. It's still a work in progress and will be. It's the most importand BDM| roleplay which will take a long time. A lot of BDM| research roleplay, which will include the Megalodon, will be done in this thread.
15 - Reports of materials deliveries. These materials were important for the laser construction.
16 - Some needed materials were considered out of reach for BDM|. We have requested Republican Shipping to get them, even despite the fact that one material, magnetic superconductors, were not really out of reach.
17 - Report about the successful Operation: "Maulwurf". Since it's completion, BDM| is in possession of various alien materials and materials based on them. Amount of the materials is not sufficient for the upcoming technological projects, so it is necesarry to explore the sources and collect the materials.
18 - Report about an exploration mission in Omicron 74. Diana Pearce discovered a jump hole leading into a yet unknown system (Omicron Lambda)
19 - Report about another exploration mission. It's objective was to explore Omicron Lambda, but the exploration wing got attacked by Corsairs. This attack proved that it is necesarry to roam around Omicrons with powerful ship with good scanners and cloaking systems, MEC-Megalodon.
