Description
The Battlecruiser Lupus was one of several Core Battlecruisers that took part in the Battle of Minor. After having successfully penetrated The Order's defences, the Lupus' victory was cut short, and it was torn to pieces by a Nomad surprise attack, suffering cataphoric damage in the process. All of the crew were lost in the attack.
Several years on, the Lupus has been left floating adrift in the Omicron Minor graveyard. The immense danger of the system has made salvage operations ill-advised, with even the Junkers being reluctant to investigate the vessel due to pressure applied by both the local powers and The Core themselves. Although The Core did look into recovering the vessel, or parts of it, closer inspection revealed the damage to render the ship beyond salvation. Any useful components had either been destroyed or were discreetly hauled back to Alabama - if possible.
For now, the Lupus drifts in orbit of Toledo and will continue to do so for the near future. It's stubbornness to move serves as a stark reminder to The Core to keep their ambitions in check and to deter from arrogance; as those are the attributes which led to the downfall and defeat of The Core Minor fleet.
