This is 2nd beta of Discoevry 4.80, fixing most bugs that were found in beta 1 - so far.
For this version, I used Freelancer SDK 1.5 that could cause some unexpected problems (as I learned from TLR forum). I don't know what exactly might happen about Discovery, still there is probability of occasional crashes.
But I will install it serverside for testing. See changelog below.
- All mod files checked and compared with Freelancer SDK 1.5 by Louva-Deus, which allowed to track and fix many old bugs and flaws.
- SUR (hitbox) files for many new ships modified.
- 3 capital ship turrets and 2 cruise disruptors added.
- All capital ships have better power supplies.
- Faction ID status changes (see descriptions); battleships added as allowed ship type for police, IMG, GMG and Neutral.
- Xeno ID now features a cargo beam (shorter than normal).
- Several ID types have more places of selling (Navy, Neutral).
- Faction IDs that required max 0.9 reputation now require 0.89.
- Fixed cargo pod bugs.
- Raven Claw hit points increased to 8400, several other fighters also tweaked.
- Viper turret relocated, fixed Viper torpedo/CD bug. Same for Cylon Raider.
- Faction pilots will now eject from all ships.
- Discovery Introduction commodity added.
- Many infocard errors corrected.
- Other fixes & server performance enhancements.
