Subject:
The Oubli

For some time, a scar of the war has been floating near Agincourt in the form of the Oubli. It concerns me that the government has chosen to leave it there and not have towed deeper into our space or at least deorbited into the sun. The reason for this is that while it remains there, there will be suicidal opportunistic scrappers salvaging components from it. Unfortunately, it would take a ridiculously large amount of resources and men to ensure that all of these people are caught, and since we will not be allocating such an amount, critical and potentially classified components are brought to markets that we have no control over, resulting in the potential for Gallic technology to end up in the hands of our enemies.

Therefore, unless the navy has immediate plans to move the remains of the ship and assuming that the majority of the war remains outside of Agincourt for the next few days, I would recommend that responsibility for the wreck of the Oubli and ensuring that it be moved deeper into Gallic space be given to the GRP.
