I'm thinking of making a Camera ship character that films events and stuff- but in RP. I don't think I need any "Special Character Requests" if it's in RP.
The idea is to have a Camera ship, with no Tag (any ideas for a tag?), and a Mercenary ID. This Mercenary doesn't kill people though, just accepts money to go film events and whatever else people need.
Is this idea acceptable? Is it too confusing to have it set up like this? Do people already do this?
Also, I suppose I'd need a good screen capturing software, so I'll look around for one. Does anybody have any ideas of one that'll work well with freelancer (not go pixelized, not make tons of lag, etc).
Freelancer ID would work way better. Freelance photographer, anyone?
Also, the default prt-scn button seems to be the fastest from what I've heard. The quality is just like you see in game as well, just change it to a png before uploading.

Good point, a freelancer would work better. Thanks.

I know a lot of people use FRAPS
I think the Free version of FRAPS only allows you to film for 30 seconds.. but I might re check that.
Back in 4.82 and 4.83 I did camera work for a few lawful/unlawful factions. The RP was great, and its a sweet money maker too!
I had a camera-ship, FRAPS, and a Mercenary ID. Note this was before the Freelancer ID. But I see the Merc ID working just as well as the Freelancer. They are technically the same after all.
Its up to you though. Do you have a story backing the Idea?
