Good day,

Allow me to introduce myself if anyone has forgotten. I am Sunny and I lead the Archangels Fighter Club. We have been supporting corsairs for a long time and currently have been pushing for more active relations such as with the CTC, <)CsF(>, and the [TBH] bounty board as well as the race in Corsair space.

As unfortunate as it is, my first message will be rather saddening, though please do not take this to heart.
I have also sent a similar message to CTC as we are communicating actively. I am informing you this so that you are aware and not surprised.

This will be a brief message that is not meant to show anger or resentment to the Corsair Empire but rather to seek some advise and help.

I have gotten reports yesterday night of an unfortunate incident that took place in the Shuttgrat system.
On of our club's members by the name of Bone-head was making some usual traveling in Rheinland Space. If you may or may not know, we have some clients in and around rheinland that like to purchase drugs from us. From the locals we also buy large amounts of booze for our local parties.
This is what Bone-head was up to. He is not the brightest guy, as you can tell, but he was out in Shuttgrat passing through with a cargo filled with Rheinbeer heading towards Freeport 1 to unload the supply. He was intercepted by a corsair with the tag )|(Campeador and he started talking to him.
What he reported back to me however is that he was called a traitor by the corsair individual... which is odd, mind you. He was also saying he doesn't like our races that we do and think we double-cross? (You will see in the black box feed below).

Anyway, what was curious is that a BDM ship arrived and the corsair ran away. Bone-head was confused by the sair's sudden disapearence and decided to move to the gate and with a drink and being already slightly drunk he was chatting with the BDM woman. Soon after an [RHA] appeared as well as the corsair and a friend of his...

Now in this situation, what would you think the corsair should have done? To me in my place he should have given to priority target to be the RHA. On top of that, I know Bone-head would have loved to aid in attacking the RHA with the corsair. Well, rather than that, the corsair decided to try to ignore the RHA and try to pirate Bone-head for 16 million... as he said he was a traitor and that Bone-head also disturbed his talking with him. That is weird... because he himself ran away and came back. If it was not for the club member staying around, the corsair would not have found him again.

I will mention too that the situation got too hot for my member and he decided to try to run. He did not fire a single shot at the corsairs as they started to tear the ship apart and force Bone-head to eject from the ship and leave the "Pisswater" behind.

Mind you, [Elders], I hope you understand that firstly the best rum is not sold everywhere for us to always haul and also we always gather an assortment of drinks. Not just one brand. I do not understand how obtaining Rheinbeer would be considered treason by the Corsair Empire [...] I would like to know what is it that we had done wrong.

I would also appreciate it if somehow we could make something happen to not let these kinds of incidents happen again. We are and have been always friends of the Empire. I don't mind if we are being asked for a donation, but I hope you would agree that we are with our relationship together doing more than just giving monetary donations.

Glory to the Empire and fly wild,

We understand that there can be awkward situations between our club and the Corsair Empire. This example of Rheinbeer being hauled is one of these examples. While we do recognize the war stance of the Empire towards Rheinland, the club cannot openly partake in this war. In short, we would be demolished. I would rather be frank and honest towards these types of topics. The AFC cannot afford to openly engage in this, and therefore we are neutral in House Space. It is also a benefit to the empire to have friends that are in this political stance, mind you. However when I say this, your council should know that we are openly against the Red Hessians and the Outcasts.

In instances where we may seem to be 'traitors' for hauling Rheinland goods such as beer, i do not think it should be automatically assumed we are supporting everything about Rheinland etc. and are against the empire. Rather as we have mentioned, we were just supplying drinks to our parties and bringing in drugs to our clients in Rhineland. Not cardamine, mind you.

Other future instances that could be an issue that I predict would be when we are tasked to escort a trader and happen to be stopped by a corsair. This is also another talk for another further communications but I am making you aware of this.

These are some trobuling news indeed.
We do not know why they call you "traitors", that is not the official stance of the Corsair Empire.
Corsair Empire doesen't approve the act of those locos. Maybe your name wasn't well noticed in the trading registry of the Empire or similar.
We can only speculate why this incident happend, however, Council will make sure that the trading registry is updated and spread through the Empire.
From this day forward, the Empire won't tolerate incidents like this.
We suggest you to file a report to the Corsair Court about this incident so that you get a refund for the loss that you took.
About your future shipments into the Empire, if you feel that your security is/could be compromised, we suggest you to contact TBH, CsF or CTC about escorting.

Thank you for the reply and understanding the issue.
We have contacted CsF on a possible escort agreement but we do not feel at this time it is that much necessary to report the incident to the corsair court.
At this moment, we can just wave things off and let them be. Things happen, after all.
