Tenrai Fleet Secure Anchorage

Kusari
Deep within the Kofu cloud, shrouded by the thick sensor obscuring gasses and protected by ever-roving warship pickets, several large ships lay at anchor surrounded by roving swarms of small craft moving to and fro. All of the ships bore marking, insignia and emblems denoting their affiliation: To the Blood Dragons movement and to their clan.
At the center of this gathering lay two ships sat close together. One of the recently developed 'Bustard' class civilian carriers, heavily modified to fulfill several roles, lay near to the most unusual ship in the anchorage, a 'Komainu' class Battlecruiser of the type used by the Republican KNF.
Bearing the scars of conflict and loss, and a storied past, this ship is the subject of an ambitious project being undertaken to increase the capability of the Blood Dragon forces fighting to restore the rightful leadership of Kusari.
1A) Primary Goal: Reconstruction of captured battlecruiser wreck for operational use
1B) Secondary Goal: enable construction and operation of battlecruisers for all Blood Dragon Forces
The goal of the plan known as Project Susanoo is two-fold:
The primary aim is to restore the barely functioning battlecruiser wreck, captured during the Nagano battle some months ago, to full operational status. This ship, rechristened the Yuubari, will then serve as a heavy fleet element within the Tenrai Fleet.
The secondary goal of Project Susanoo is to enable the limited construction and operation of Battlecruisers by Blood Dragon forces to bolster the increasing operational tempo.
Due to the state that the wreck is in, it is highly likely that an almost entire rebuild will be required. As such, getting a hold of a blueprint for the Komainu class will be a high level goal. If a blueprint cannot be sourced, then other measures will have to be devised.

Shirayuki Niwa stood and watched as swarms of powered engineering suits swarmed over the hull of the battlecruiser Yuubari. Shirayuki stood in an observation bay on the starboard side of the assault carrier currently anchored alongside the Yuubari, observing the engineering crews as they thoroughly checked the hull and outer surfaces of the ship. "Ugh. This thing, even for salvage, is in pretty poor shape." She looks down at the tablet computer in her hands, the device receiving input from both the carrier's scanning arrays and the portable scanners used by the engineers. "Most of the hull plating will need to be replaced. The power relays are shot, working only at 10% capacity. The reactor itself seems to be on its last legs."
Displayed on the tablet's screen is a 3 dimensional model of the Yuubari, color coded to show all of the damage and non-functioning parts of the ship. Most of the model was colored red, denoting heavy damage. Some areas were marked in either black, denoting a total loss, or yellow, denoting repairable damage. The only section marked in green is the propulsion and engine assembly, which is the only part of the ship that's undamaged and functional. "The list of things to replace or repair is heavy. Weapons systems, power relays, the whole shield system, information and electronic warfare systems, navigation systems, hull plating. Arrggh. Then the AI mainframe has to be installed, the hangar bay has to be modified and converted to accept our craft. This is going to take a while. We're going to need to get friend and allies involved to help get this thing working again." Shirayuki sighs as the weight and extent of the project crashed down like a ton of bricks.
A bunch of dragons sat around a table in the meeting room, talking amongst themselves while waiting for the last person to arrive. The doors swing open and Shirayuki Niwa walks in, holding her tablet, taking her empty seat at the table. "Sorry for the delay. Now that we're all here, we'll be hammering out a few of the details we need to settle for this project. Suzuya, if you please." An AI, in the image of a green-haired girl in her late teens, materializes next to Shirayuki. "This is the current state of the Yuubari. The issue is the means of reconstruction." A 3D model of the ship appears floating over the table. "We have little information about their constructed layout, so rebuilding to factory standard will be tough. At this point, we have three options:
1. Steal full blueprints from the corporations. This plan carries a high risk rate and low chance of success.
2. Employ the Lane Hackers and other factions to gather as much detail on Komainu design as we can.
3. Rebuild the interior to our own design. This is the safest option, but also requires a lot more work."
A male dragon raises his voice. "How many options are we seriously planning for?" Shirayuki looks over at him. "All of them. We will have our own layout designed as a backup plan, while having information gathered about Komainu design. We will also keep an eye out for chances to secure blueprints." The man nods, satisfied. Another dragon, a woman this time, looks over. "Is the hull structure intact?" As the womans speaks, the floating ship model changes to a skeletal view. "According to scan data of the hull, and inspections by the engineers, the hull structure is solid. If need be, we can strip everything broken out and rebuild from just the skeleton."
"The Intelligence division will begin making contact with factions for the information we seek." A man, wearing a hood that completely hides his face, says. "Ok. Co-ordinate with the engineers for the lists of supplies we can ask our allies for help with. If the faction has experience with battlecruisers in general, try and acquire that knowledge as well. I think thats enough for now, as well all have a lot of work to do." All of the seated dragons nod in agreement, before getting up and filing out of the room.
