The feed faded from static to the face of Amy, who seemed rather despaired in appearance. Though this didn't reflect her tone of voice.

"Uh well. Figured i should keep track of the shenanigans i get up to so here goes i guess. Things have certainly picked up the pace, at least for me and Nixie. She's uh. Currently up in Delta, lurking and waiting for a positive reply from the Order at the time of this recording. I hate waiting..it's bad enough without having to sit around down here but the length of time that meet is taking to happen is surreal!"

She shook her head, glancing out a nearby window, a smooth rumble of the Titania's engines could be audible in the background, she composed herself taking a breath and returned her gaze to the camera

"I got some good news yesterday. Turns out Sylus is in a stable condition, i guess it was relieving. No point in even denying that and Nixie did take a fair slamming from her attempt at saving his life." She smiled briefly "That's my girl...don't know what i'd do without her. I guess that's why, you could say i'm worried with her being alone in Delta. Yes she is on a Cruiser but the thing is virtually powerless weaponry wise and that's the whole reason she's up there right now. Really wish i was more in the loop about that.."

"We finally got her hull straightened out at long last. Hunt arranged for a repair asset to be dispatched to deal with the buckled hull plates. Don't even ask me where he gets these damn things."

She seemed to laugh "If it's not nailed or anchored down. Hunt will somehow end up with it in his possession." She continued laughing.

"We're still working on the collapsed deck but this enabled Nixie to take part in her first mission. A rather simple task but it was good to start off simple i suppose. Mission was to infiltrate Vespucci and basically hang around as a distraction while Hunt and Artemis gathered some information for their own memories. Needless to say nobody actually noticed us, we sat far enough away from anything of significance and we were in and outta there in a flash. But i often feel in circumstance such as these, there's more to it than that. Guess time will only tell huh."

"I have to admit..it was quite fun. I know work shouldn't be fun but the rush i got from that whole thing was...addictive to say the least. Nixie was happy to finally be conducting operations making use of her equipment. Just as well actually we didn't get spotted because she's not got half the offensive potential she once had at present. However her stealth systems played a major role here. I'm very pleased with the performance there. It was flawless as expected."

"The 'exfil' was fairly straightforward. We merely engaged our cloaking systems at a safe distance and proceeded to leave Vespucci. We left after Hunt acting as rear guard. I guess it proves to Hunt that we don't make mistakes during operations. Hence why we got in and outta there like a spirit drifting through a building." She smiled, shaking her head "It's uncanny how that AI does it..it really is.."

"Hopefully she'll be back here soon. However on another note, it does seem I've taken a liking to the people they've become quite possibly more than work associates i needed more than 'wanted' around. I suppose you could say. I don't know..it's strange. However i do actually trust Hunt. It's hard to believe i'm even saying this but it's true. Mind you, as the days go by i wonder if there's something a little more going on behind the eyes of Sapphire Raven. I'm usually pretty good at figuring people but..can't quite do it for her. She's pretty important in the Battle-group Auxesia, that's really all i know apart from the fact the battlegroup itself is a valuable ally to us. Needless to say i don't really ask questions when it comes to Raven, I've already seen a few things i probably shouldn't have a week or so ago. I actually feel some sort of..pity. Yes. I'll come right out and say it, i feel sorry for her."

She sighed, muttering to herself "If only you could hear yourself Amy.."

"From what i can make out she's lost somebody important, i can relate to that. I don't dare bring it up however, i feel it'd be cruel and selfish to try and inquire about something personal like that even if my curiosity tries to get the better of me. I suppose it's just a side effect of actually caring. Wait..is that what this is all about? What on Manhattan is happening to me.." She shook her head "I guess i'm finally getting warmed up to everyone. Need to watch that doesn't become obvious.." She smiled briefly, pondering about that element of 'caring' before the camera faded to static.

The feed flashed up, Amy sitting staring at the camera. Two bottles of what looked like Sake sitting on the table behind her and a blanket on the sofa. There were no sounds of the drives this time. The ship seemed to be stopped somewhere in a cloud judging by the grey cloudy glare on a nearby window.

"Well. Been a while since i updated this thing. Figured i should update my shenanigans for me to reminisce about in a few years time. Anyway, a fair amount has happened since i last made an entry. Not really had time to take many images of what's gone down but what i have i'll make sure to upload to this thing." She shrugged "It's kinda amusing where the path i'm on is leading me. So currently, we're in Tau 37, the whole move from Coronado has finally happened though i'm kinda in the dark about if this is the final location or what's going on. But for now we're outta trouble. -For Now i say. Yeah. That's just jinxed it." She laughed quietly "Wherever i go some maelstrom follows anyway right?" She smiled happily "I'll tell you one thing. This line of work, these people, the thing we're taking on. Honestly i'm having the time of my life. It sounds insane to be glad at being shot at and running the risk of dying everyday- But. I feel like i serve a purpose. Like i make a difference and that to me...is everything."

She laid back in the chair, the dim light in the room lighting her face up slightly. Clearly she hadn't bothered to turn the ceiling lights on.

"Glad to be back on the Warhammer. Sleeping rough on stations and in my Jackdaw was starting to wear me down - Barrier Gate is a hellish place at nights sometimes. Hope i never see it again. " She shrugs "Probably won't, who knows." She paused. looking up, thinking of what to say "So we had a meeting with the Order - Well. When i say meeting, we ran into the Carrier since it wasn't scheduled at all. But it wasn't for the reason i expected, more like, they wanted something from us and it got me and Nixie nowhere. Figures. Trusting those people is like ...actually it's so bad i might as well be thrown in a lunatic asylum. Nixie is well..i don't even know. Not only did she hand over the Warhammer Blueprints, she helped get them a door into the Navy secure network AND went on a date with the person she gave all that to. God i really need to seriously consider my next move since that's just insanity. I mean. Who -Does- that. Whatever. Whatever!" She shook her head in a hopeless sense, a questioning look on her face as if she could hardly believe what had actually gone down.

She took a drink from a glass, shoving a stack of paper further down the desk, some of the pile spilling onto the floor. She cursed under her breath about work before returning her attention to the screen.

"Let's see. What else has happened. Oh!. Yeah. I discovered something interesting about Raven and Hunt and honestly..i'm still surprised. They're close friends, i knew this already but when i found out exactly 'how' close they were. Well..that changed everything. I forgive Hunt for all those things years ago. The lot. Whole smack. I'm glad i stand by his side, i'm serious too. When i discovered how much they've helped each other and a glimpse of something i saw..the man is actually human. There is human decency in him. I didn't believe it at first, to be honest it's still leaving shock-waves in my head..but. There is no doubt in my mind i forgive him, but in turn i also forgive myself. Because it really put into perspective, we do what we must to go home at the end of the day. To survive and to make a difference. I forgive myself for what i did many many years ago.." She shook her head, looking like she was about to cry. Of course realizing then grabbing the bottle and drinking a substantial portion "Gah that burns..anyway. I did what i had to do so i could still be here and still make a difference. But those things we face, those Nomads. They should know..i stand waiting. Like a sentinel. I'll have my vengeance for that incident. Mark my words.." She said, her tone changing to a dark, cold one for a brief moment.

"Anyway!. I was going to upload a snippet of the audio log for what i 'saw'. But eh. I feel kinda..wrong about it. So i'm not gonna bother. I had Nixie delete the video footage but, it's still imprinted in my head, that's for sure..i mean..how 'could' i forget. The guy has actually got this thing called 'emotion' and the ability to 'care' about something!. I don't believe it, or i don't think..bah. Moving on before i give myself a migraine on top of this hangover."

"So in my time in Tau 37. It seems we managed to make some supposed Blood Dragon angry. To be quite honest. I don't get what their problem is or how the hell they conveniently turn up whenever disaster strikes. It's getting a bit irritating to be honest but i'm staying my blade for a time when it's really worth spilling blood..got enough on my conscience. But i swear. This trend continues and me and them are gonna have a problem, Nixie is fed up too and she's 'really' patient usually and that's saying something. I mean at one point, this character, whoever she is. Was threatening to call a fleet on us or something, now personally, i think it's just scaremongering and i'm not falling for it. They'll have a hell of a job tracking Warhammer anyway and Titania is well hidden from the prying eyes of people who shouldn't see her. "

There was a pause as she took another drink from the bottle

"They seem to think i want 'War' because i merely replied to a threat of a fleet, that we 'will' defend ourselves if attacked. I guess i should be more basic with my word choice, since clearly, my Libertonian Accent is clouding their ability to understand this shenanigans. I mean. Come. On. These..eh. How can i put it, overly culture obsessed people don't need much to start a war do they? no wonder Kusari is a god damned shambles... starting wars over pathetic stuff like that. You know, they don't strike me as the type to think twice about human sacrifice. She even had the nerve to call 'Raven' weak in a supposed 'joke'. Sorry but no. From what i've seen and learned over the time I've known her, while i don't know a great deal, she certainly ain't weak. Especially with what she's been through - which this in itself leaves me with wonder. I don't know much into it but don't dare to bark up that tree. A normal person would have caved in by now, but Raven hasn't. She's still here. I guess knowing this is why that little remark stung me so much. God it irritates me!. I see her as a friend, regardless of the fact she probably doesn't see me in that light. I really need to think of myself a little more highly..but ugh. I don't have any special connections or attributes.. all i got is the will to help people and an ear to listen. I suppose i'm good at killing people hand to hand but that's not really uncommon these days.."

She sighed, frustration was clear by this point while a hint of comedy was detected in her voice as she spoke it seems she was almost mocking the conversation that was had - "You know what, i'll upload this conversation too. Why the hell not."

"I mean. They even know stuff they shouldn't. At least as far as i know half of that isn't...isn't even a thing. How did they even know about the 001 Phoenix. HOW. Actually, am i really worried? hell. Their ships are like flying garbage cans compared to Warhammer. Technology is not on their side, nor is intelligence i gathered. Still kinda freaky they knew Phoenix anyway, but i guess she was a legend in the Omicrons. They recognize Nixie whenever we fly past someone up there anyways."

She sighed shaking her head "Maybe it's nothing..i -hope- it's just a coincidence and my old man ran into them years ago. But i doubt it. Gotta keep looking over my shoulder because of these freaks. Honestly. I'll admit to this log, right here and now. I'm scared. Not of the Blood Dragons. No. Of the bigger picture, the Nomads, the things i don't know, what might happen..i feel..i feel a little fragile. I guess the delicate part of me I've been hiding is starting to show, nobody else can know. It's bad enough i'm being nice to people. Even told Hunt the angry-aggressive me is a front. A face. An persona i use to hide the true me..maybe it's too painful to keep up anymore.." She fell quiet, shaking her head, leaning back in the chair and staring at the ceiling "Guess that's all for now..Onwards with the insanity and the shenanigans associating the mighty Warhammer!" She said jokingly, laughing to herself before the feed faded to static. Closing the recording.

Strangely enough, it was Nixie appearing on the camera this time. The bridge of the Warhammer illuminated brightly with the Red Star in Omicron Delta clearly visible as she paced about the bridge.

"Okay so i guess it's gon' be me adding another entry. So much has happened since it was last updated and i guess i'm not really sure to begin." She stopped pacing, leaning on a railing near the helm of the ship with her back to the camera. "I suppose i'm worried. Scared even. I've been up here so long i'm losing touch with reality and with myself. It's getting kinda heavy up here and honestly i'm not sure how far i can go before i do cave in to.." She sighed "I can't control Archangel..it's a powerful instruction set that overwhelms me. I can feel the power of that dormant turbine on the ship creeping up my spine even though it's not active..-I mean. How am i supposed to feel? Ames' is gone. Not dead..well. At least i hope not..and i've got various shady people breathing down my neck. Still no word about the weapons request, not to mention i don't think Golanski was too happy about my presence. - I dunno. I don't trust him at this point..especially with Ames having upped and vanished for some reason. Tracker on her ship went dead two days ago and i'm starting to fear the worst."

By this point, she had done a full circle of the bridge before finally sitting down in front of the camera, her notorious blue eyes glowing slightly.

"I met this Order operative. Her name is Ellie Hunter - i uh. I met her before at the Freeport and i'm honestly at a loss for words when it comes to actually describing her. After all that's happened, the disasters, chaos, battles. She 'still' wants to see me, even after some Division Nine broke down her door and tried to take her too!" she coughed, clearly trying to stifle the emotion she currently felt. "Yeah..should probably mention this. Aelita Stone resurfaced with a vengeance. Or at least i think it was, she said it was someone else who Ellie - quite rightly, smacked in the face and captured. Aelita is apparently some 'deep cover' operative. No. i don't believe that at all. She kept spouting these things regarding my creator and i didn't understand any of it until whoever it was on the vessel Rosetta - said they had killed Koria. Ames' younger sister. Now, i can't confirm if this is true, but it was a blow to Amy. In fact..i've not seen her since..i saw her crying in her room a few hours afterwords. Thank god Maverick and his ship were nearby - i might have actually lost it completely when that same Agent, Rosetta, started threatening that the Nomad's were going to mysteriously find and claim Ellie. I felt that surge of power then, along with..anger i've never felt before. I honestly think i would have totally lost it if i wasn't within the reassurance that Maverick would be there to help me - Even i need help sometimes..."

"I suppose meeting Ellie was my saviour in the end. We planned to meet up but a few things in Zeta went south and the meeting between Golanski and Hunt was interrupted by a fleet of..just about every damned hostility there was. Luckily i was using Ames' ship this time and didn't expose Warhammer, otherwise that cluster of enemies would have torn her to pieces. I'm fairly certain the AI's designated as 'Prime' were actively hunting her this time. Damned 'toasters'...i mean. How basic can they be. Seriously!" Nixie paused, smiling briefly "I have the memory of Ellie in my mind. Last time i saw her. I cling to that. It's keeping me together right now..i'm alone up here and honestly i don't find it easy. I wake up in the morning now, look in the mirror in wonder at what i am and there's no reassuring hand on my shoulder treating me like a normal person. No kind words to help me when i'm upset and definitely no help with the cooking around here..i can kill..i can calculate just about anything but i -cannot- make food to save my life. Just as well i don't depend on it i guess or i'd be dead by now. I can run soley on the ship power but that's getting kinda scarce now too. Warhammer is down to her reserve tanks of fuel so i try and restrain myself from using it's energy to sustain me. I wish i could just go on the date i had planned with Ellie. In fact. I'm going to upload the comm channel uplink files on here too. She's just on the next level of brilliant. I mean who brushes off a crazy infested thing breaking down the damn door!?"

Nixie smiled for a few minutes, just staring at the feed, the sound of comms chatter over the ship comms in the background "I honestly can't wait to meet her again. Guess it's going to be a hit or a miss if we can manage it again. Damned Omicrons. Can't they just be deserted for once!. Well that's what i get. But i hope Ames' turns up soon or Ellie is going to end up dating an emotional wreck at this point. One that has completely lost control of her power and self destructed in the middle of Zeta." She sighed "That day is getting closer and closer. The power slowly eating me up." Nixie clenched her fist, slamming it onto the desk "No. I need to do this for Ellie. I can't be yet another failure in her life. I'm determined but..discouraged at the same time..guess we'll see where this horrible world takes me now. This rollercoaster ride of emotions will break me eventually but...question is..when. But it sure as hell won't beat me today!"

Nixie blank faced the camera, staring for another moment or two before it faded to static.

"So things have turned out to be rather eventful, since my departure from house space and losing a friend I clearly needed losing. Some information came to light and a great deal has happened since i last had the chance to update this. So here goes i guess. Turns out i was human at one stage of the game. I suppose i always had the feeling, it became obvious a while ago to a few people i was far too advanced to have originated solely from a machine. Amy gave me a file that i don't think has seen the light of day since the 41st task force but i honestly don't want to see her again. As a side note though, i took a detour via Kusari on my way up to the Omicrons and ended up in a beautiful system called Sigma 59. I was astounded by how pretty it was and i'll upload an image for the record..but back to topic. "

Nixie paused, taking a breath and conetemplating what she was about to say. She pushed a small coin shaped object around the desk, clearly bothered about this whole ordeal

"She should have told me about this a long time ago and i feel betrayed in more ways than one. The benefit of this information was the Order have some strange way of recreating my body in a lab. As in, my original one from the DNA in my brain, which is kinda amazing i guess. Though it's Ellie's job to make it so, she's the scientist after all and i'm the superweapon. So i'll let her get on with it i suppose. Of course it won't be an exact replica but honestly i'd rather be that than this metal thing any longer. Needless to say this change doesn’t handicap my ability to work like an AI, my brain is still configured with the same old components that allow me to remotely operate my ships – only difference is I don’t need the ruddy thing to live anymore. I'm guessing when i was converted to part AI, they didn't have the technology to fix whatever happened to the old me. She sighed at this point, it was clear Nixie didn't really have everything figured out about this yet

"I don’t really feel as special knowing that I was a human that had their brain tweaked with computer stuff and turned into what I am – of course Ellie still thinks the world of me” Nixie laughed quietly at that remark

In more promising developments I’ve been reunited with Ellie Hunter speaking of. Of course this means I’m in a better mood than I was a few days ago, the cherry on the cake is when we sat down to discuss a few things. My old Battleship is still floating around in Omicron Minor, disabled but she’s there. We intend to embark on a salvage operation to drag it back here so I can fix it up. Obsolete as all hell now though but when you end up in bed with the head of the Science division in the Order, you tend to get some..rather expensive equipment. Mind you, I did say Ellie could have the Warhammer to fix up Thunderbay. Thunderbay..huh that thing has been in the shipyard up here longer than I can even remember. Anyway the Warhammer has been moored here and i'm currently recording this for the last time on the Warhammer. Next time i write a diary entry, there's a good chance i'll have Phoenix back up and flying. We'll see i guess.“ She shrugged

“So anyway, the salvage operation I’ve calculated will require two cruisers and quite possibly the support of a Carrier to drag that thing out of Minor. It’s only gone and drifted into some radiation pocket which explains why we couldn’t find it in the first place. Only snag there is, the damn thing is hung up on a rock cluster and it’s ruptured the hull on the starboard side. We’ll be lucky if we can tow it outta there without tearing the ship in two, by which point this whole exercise is pointless. I've attached a draft of the proposed operation summary though chances are we'll need to improvise a bit during proceedings.”

"Y'know something, if i had things my way, i'd roll a capitol ship in there, sling a load of towing lines and drag the sorry mess out with brutality.
