Mister Mortensen, I've been expecting this communique from you. I'm Inquisitor Callahan, Tarxien's premier expert on all things deadly, radioactive, and potentially world-burning.
Signora Espinosa and I had a brief little chat about your encounter, and she alluded to a certain.. "employer" of yours. So as to not beat around the bush any further, such a means of "employment" has its benefits in terms of contacts when it comes to my line of work. To be frank, a project we're presently working on has run into a few roadblocks that might have need of them and/or your input.
Now, as it stands we can make do; but I fear given the subject matter of this project that we may soon happen upon a roadblock that is not so easy to surpass. In which case, having a contact such as yourself could prove invalueable.
I'm not asking anything now, all Espinosa and Mendes were asking for was merely an open channel in such an eventuality to better facilitate cooperation. All we ask is this: is our work something you'd be interested in?

Whatever the task might be, I've spent enough time roaming around Sirius to know how to get in and out of most places relatively easily. However, there are a few places that are out of my reach. Recent word-of-mouth rumors have indicated activity coming from the Reaper's shrinking territory. As it stands, we have little information as to their status, standing, and current structure. Though they pose little threat or present little in the way of benefit to Malta, the more information on much of any party is valued highly. Our operatives in the Omegas are few in number and few of those are available enough to gather any reliable intel beyond mere external observation. What we're after is an assessment of capabilities, effective strength, relations status with any of the other parties in the Omegas beyond what is common knowledge already.
I'm asking you to approach whomever you must just to get an idea as to Cayman's current status, and the status of those that inhabit the system's confides. Surely now you see what kind of operation this is. Think you're up to the task?
