PvP in Crossfire is different. Since it's not a roleplay server, everyone flies the same most overpowered ship with the best setup which is 2 missiles 4 guns or 3/3. Missiles are impossible to dodge there without CDing them or getting into a perfect angle with spamming of CMs, and ships are as manouverable as Liberators, if not more.
It's why PvP is missile-orientated which makes movement much more important than actually aiming, because it's almost impossible to hit such an agile ship with guns. The guns are usually just for show/finishing off a low hp target or killing NPCs while the missiles do most of the damage on players. Also it's a common agreement not to use regens in a fight, but even if they were allowed you'd still probably lose all your bots and bats before they lost ammo.
