I was just informed about the attack on the OSC ship Mindoro. Such a shocking news!

However, I am disagreeably surprised that I - and whole federal polizei - learn about it from the news on NeuralNet and the press conference you hold. If such a terrible event with this amout of victims happens, supposedly in Rheinland space, you should contact us directly as soon as possible so the investigation can start. Instead you did not tell us a single word and informed the media first. Not only this is a very nonstandard procedure, but also this delay may seriously affect the investigation.

Not to mention how it would look like if some journalist would contact us and ask how the investigation of this massacre is going and it would turn out we don´t even know yet that it happened. I guess none of us wants to hear in the evening news that your corporation and Rheinland federal polizei are not able to cooperate with the investigation of such atrocious act.

So I want to know - for start - what was the reason to keep information about the attack on your ship away from from federal polizei, and also all the information you gathered so far about the attack itself. I mean apart of the information we already have from the news... Especially where and when attack exactly happened.

We also want to see data from the flight recorders immediatelly.

My name is James Blackwood, I am the Director of Travel and Tourism for Orbital Spa and Cruise. I have been selected to respond to you today.

To be blunt given the initial report from the Captain of the Liner and the recovered flight logs Orbital suspects that the attack originated from one or several members of the Buro Der Marineintelligenz and Liberty Security Force in what appears to be a false flag operation. For the safety of the Liner Captain Orbital took it upon ourselves to remove him from the grasp of either of those organizations. While in the middle of that fiasco someone on Oder shipyard reports about a badly damaged liner being moored to the station, and well, frankly it was more important to appear in control of the situation by hosting a press conference. We have an image to maintain after all.

However, I will admit that the very next thing I should have done was contact the RFP. That being said Orbital is now ready to corporate fully with the Polizei for our mutual investigations. Find attached flight logs from the vessel. I must stress that this information be kept strictly TOP SECRET . Furthermore find attached a message that I sent to the Liberty Navy about another attack by seemingly "Lawful" forces. Considering this is the second attack in on our assets in the past few weeks I'm sure you'll understand why Orbital choose not to inform you right away.

Inform us, bitte, if it´s complete or there are any other data which you can provide. Mainly we are searching for any scans of the unknown ships, or information about exact position where the Mindoro met them. Also danke for providing your report, it strengthened our investigation version according to which there was no Unioners attack.

But to give you some first preliminary conclusion - we believe that Mindoro was most likely attacked by ships which belong to the organization known as Das Wilde. In other words - by humans which were infested by aliens known as Nomads during the Nomad War and are still under their control. Case of attack on the Mindoro is now handled by polizeidirektorin Carsten, which is expert of federal polizei in the field of these attack due to her...repeated personal experience with them. She is finishing detailed analysis of the data to provide explanation why we consider this as the most likely explanation for what happened. I recommend to wait with communication to the governments until you will have as much information as possible.

Also, for the mentioned reason, we insist that captain Simon Swift must be detained immediately and kept in quarantine until further notice. It is also absolutely necessary to make him go through full medical check to exlude the possibility he was infected as well.

You'll forgive me, but "Das Wilde" is not something Orbital is familiar with. While we have had encounters with nomads in the past we weren't aware that they could exists in human form. Is there some sort of scanner on the market for this thing? Probably not... If possible please forward any relevant information. If we can build a profile of their attack pattern we can better train our captains to disengage from and escape attacks.

Anyways, Captain Swift is already being held in quarantine as per Orbital policy regarding Liner Attacks, I'll see that he is checked by our medical teams immediately.

This obviously did not happen in this case and suggests that pilots which claimed to be law enforcers considered as expected that target ship will cease communication. Likely because they knew why the communication was ceased.

Another important lead are the words of Mindoro´s captain: „It was odd like a dream“. People whose mind was affected or completely controlled by Nomads or Das Wilde agents often describe it as „being in a dream despite being completely awake“. Due to remote influence or direct control of victim´s brain functions, its ability to recognize reality from imposed pseudohallucination is significantly reduced and usually leads to hallucination which is controlled by the alien.

Summary: Pilots of two unknown ships repeatedly lied - about existence of joint operation between BDM and LSF, what was rejected by BDM direktor, and about putsch on planet New Berlin. Another very probable lie was attack of Unioners - there are no reports about massive Unioner activity in the system during the day when supposed attack happened. If nothing else, this means that none of the present ships reported the attack to the space operations centre or space traffic control centre. Also there are no signs of any attempt to fight with alleged attacking Unioners except one statement which is contradicting other statements.

In addition, according to one of the few survivors which were interrogated by OSC investigation team, only two ships were spotted firing at the liner, one of them being of Liberty and second of Rheinland origin. Also, according to OSC, no trace of Unioners weaponry signatures were find on the Mindoro´s damaged hull.

This proves these two pilots were not real officers of mentioned authorities and it was them who in fact opened fire on the liner.

In combination with fact that captain Swift does not know about it due to very selective amnesia, and also according to logs suffered from sudden hallucinations which affected his judgment and his decisions in very controlled way, all clues suggest that attack was executed by Das Wilde. Scenario of the attack seems to be that after they approached the liner using faked identity of law enforcement authorities, what captain could not reveal in time, they took control over him using remote caused hallucination to prevent liner from fleeing, and then opened fire to cause as much damage as possible.

Now some more details about Das Wilde. But let me start with informing you that what I will tell you now is considered as classified and you are bound to take all measures necessary to prevent any information leaks to public, mainly sharing it only to proven responsible trustworthy employees which will not spread it around.

So, Das Wilde is organization which consists of alien physically infested or otherwise Nomad-aligned humans. The core is formed of Rheinland Military pilots, many taken during the Nomad War of 800-801 A.S., but there are also reports that members of other organizations all around Sirius were obtained, including but not limited to militaries, police forces or corporations. I - and polizei as whole - do not possess same detailed info as intelligence agencies have, but as far as I know, similar organizations exist even in other houses, mainly in Liberty and Kusari.

For the mentioned reason, while they most commonly use Rheinland Military ships like Wraith very heavy fighter or Bergelmir bomber, they also use other gear of all types and affiliations. Sometimes with Nomad-designed weaponry and gear, sometimes without it what allows them to get close to their prey with low possibility of being revealed before it´s too late.

But the most dangerous weapon, which nomad infested humans have likely thanks to their parasite, is ability to affect brain function of the victim at quite long distance in a way to cause hallucination which is controlled by them. Then they can directly manipulate with the victim to reach their goals, which are often to destroy ships and kill people onboard. Or even worse, to infect them.

This ability likely stems from the alien, but as far as I know no details are known. It is very hard to counter this weapon, even trained law enforcers sometimes can´t keep their mind clear, especially during their first encounter with this attack.

Anyway, for all above mentioned reasons, it is quite hard to protect ships from attacks of Das Wilde, especially when there is no other person which would help the hallucinating person to get back to reality. I hope you understand now why this must stay classified. It could cause fear between citizens if they would know there is such threat around, and even worse, that possibilities how to face it are very limited.
