To be honest the support ships we have right now are garbage. Repair ship definitely needs buffs to makw it more useful. I don't think the concept of support ships isn't something we shouldn't pursue, and support ship such as missile capitals work quite nicely already.
I was satishfied with LF's performance in .85-.86
Now it's almost the same with the exception of higher DPS and lower efficiency (especially pulses).
For me it means that the LFs are quite bad for dealing continuous damage (as in group fights) - their primary role.
I'd suggest revising the LF guns stats - make them more efficient and less damaging.
Maybe, there's no need for LF-HF gun split at all?
