==================== RULE: 2.0 - Every ship must have one ID equipped, and play in a way that represents the role of that ID. [...] QUESTION: Is it allowed to be in the same player group with hostile faction players against a third party? (e.g. Bounty Hunters + Order vs. Nomads) ==================== ADMIN/MOD ANSWER:It is generally unacceptable to group up with factions that you are hostile with, even if during an engagement/encounter with Nomads. However, in your example, it would be acceptable iRP for Core/Order to not engage to prioritise engaging Nomads.
==================== RULE: 2.0 - Every ship must have one ID equipped, and play in a way that represents the role of that ID. [...] QUESTION:
Is the ID line
- Can attack ships considered hostile by <house>.
Refering to the ID of the player or the ship type itself?
Can a ship, which is hostile to the house, but using a neutral ID, enganged with proper role play reason? ==================== ADMIN/MOD ANSWER:Players cannot straight up attack other players if they are using ship technologies hostile to any of the Houses.
==================== RULE:Pob Commodities QUESTION:
- Are pinned contraband items known inRP?
- Is the "someone docks on POB" or "leaves a POB" with contraband passage still valid? ==================== ADMIN/MOD ANSWER:Pinned commodities are considered OORP. They serve only to assist in base supplying and cannot be used INRP against the base. If you do see a ship dock with contraband and undock without it, you can 100% use that against both the transport and the base INRP.
==================== RULE: - QUESTION: This came up in a recent discussion unrelated to any particular incident, but please consider making a pinned topic in the sanction discussion/vote section (read: visible to any current party participating in voting) and a google doc, where each server rule has a subsection that has linked TL'DR to already enforced clarifications with a link to the corresponding post in this thread. We never got around to it back in the day, but it should reduce situations where a sanction was voted upon in a way to contradicts an answer in this thread, especially if the clarification was made by a team that has gone through a turnover. ==================== ADMIN/MOD ANSWER:(Leave blank for Admin/Mod comment)

RULE:2.2 - If you are killed or dock during a hostile player encounter, you must not re-enter the system or attack anyone involved in the encounter for 1 hour. Trade Ships docking during a hostile player encounter are not considered to have been "killed". QUESTION: If the agressor(s) that have engaged and killed me, logged off the server, am I allowed to return to the system that I was killed in? I seem to have missed this clarification. ==================== ADMIN/MOD ANSWER:
Unless you recieve permission from the person that killed you to ignore your death, you should not re-enter the system until the timer is up.
==================== RULE: GENERAL CONDUCT QUESTION: If it fits my in game character, can I use suggestive language? Example: Law enforcer wants me to drop contraband and I heavily imply that instead of me dropping my cargo we could meet on the next station and I would give him a very special favour (I'd come up with a more creative way of saying this, but you get the idea). Is this okay, oder would it violate general conduct? ==================== ADMIN/MOD ANSWER:
We do not care what two consenting adults say to each other in DMs - just make sure the recipient is an adult and ok to it, you can go nuts. With regards to regular in-local interactions, we do not have a hard line of what is and is not acceptable within roleplay (short of oorp hate speech). Within reason, try to be respectful of other players' boundaries - innuendo is ok and should stop when someone makes it clear to you that advances are not welcome. Unsolicited explicit sexual content is not ok.
==================== RULE: 2.5 QUESTION: Can player A make an unreasonable piracy demand to player B if player A's ID allows to kill Player B on sight? ==================== ADMIN/MOD ANSWER:
If you are already free to kill the person, you can make any demand to stop killing said person.
EX: If you are John Junker and you stop Cleetus Xeno flying about, since Junker IDs can freely engage Xeno IDs anywhere, you can demand that Cleetus kill himself or you will do it for him. Or you could demand a trillion credits and his sister-wife's hand in marriage, or whatever else a Junker could possibly want.
