Well, not sure if it is the right place, but here are some examples of RP encounters that i had the "pleasure" to participate or witness on Discovery RP 24/7 :
The 2 sides are at war or want to destroy the other side (ID, RP or other reason). Example: Nomad vs rest, Hellfire legion vs liberty navy.
Nomad: You shouldn't be here!
trader: What? A squid here? Just my luck....
Nomad: Prepare to be destroyed!!
Trader: * Try to run screaming and dies*
Liberty Navy: What we have here?
HF: Shut up murderers!!
Liberty Navy: Murderers? You lying terrorist are invading liberty space and breaking the law!
HL: You are the liers! We dont recognise you corrupt law!
blabla and pew pew
Traders vs pirates
Pirate sees trader:
Pirate: Cut your engines, or i will shot! You have 3 seconds to stop!
If traders is more then 6km, try to run away with little rp, if any making fun of the pirate.
If trader less then 6 km, may or not try to run away and get CD and shot in the process or stop the engines
Trader: Engines dead.
Pirate:Well, well. I hit the jackpot!
Trader: just not my day...
Pirate: Pay up X millions
Trader: X!!!
Pirate: Dont stall and dont call for help!
Trader: i am not stalling, but X millions??
Pirate: Yup, i have all the guns!! Haha.
Trader: *****sends cash*
Pirate: You may go, and you are free on the way back.
or refuse and try to run away, but transports vs pirate meh.
Police Vs Trader
Police: Trader,stop your engines for mandatory scanners!
Trader: Grettings. Engines cold.
police: You are clear, you can go. Safe travel.
Trader: Thank you officer. Safe patrol.
Police vs smuglers
Police: Trader,stop your engines for mandatory scanners!
If smugler less then 10 km of a base,ignore and docks. police have to wait 10 secs before firing, even with several stop orders and smugler docks.
Or smugler stops
Smugler:What the problem officer
police: You are transporting XXX, its ilegal to carry that.
Smugler: Realy? I didnt knew.
Police. But it is. If you drop the cargo you may leave with just a warning!
Many variations, from smugler trying to talk the way out, trying to bride the police, refusing to drop the cargo and being shot by the police until he drops or he gets destroyed, forced to land on Y planet and undock empty, pay a fine and keep/drop the cargo.
Police vs pirates/criminals
This is a bit weird, since both sides start thinking that is a life or death battle: both sides think the police will kill the pirate and the pirate responds in kind, going for a figth or running away. No Rp in trying make the pirate to surrender or to capture it alive(from both sides), escorting the pirate outside house space.
So far this where my experiences from 1 month ingame, since so far i didnt make a forum RP char or joined a faction (have some for ingame rp) and dont I read many RP things forum, just the open to all stuff, and this was/is my first Rollplaying experience. When i started this I didnt knew ( and maybe still dont know) how to rp on encounters, tried to search in the forum for examples like the ones above and didnt find much.
