Dire situation

Genosse Klugmann,

The the Widerstand has always managed to get by with few supplies and equipment. However, recently our resources have been strained more than ever. The refugee crisis, troubles with our supply lines and constant battles with law enforcement patrols and pirates have taken their toll. We are afraid that at this moment, the Widerstand is no longer sufficiently operational and is currently unable to fulfill all its duties as leading sect of the Bundschuhpartei.

The logistics division and the engineering division thus urgently request an operation to be set up to secure supplies, acquire new vessels and equipment, and restore old ones. The RNC Nieuwenhuis, the OCV Sekhmet, the WRS Seeger and the WRS Haymarket are all out of use either due to combat damage or extreme neglect in maintenance. Some of these may be restored, others will have to be scrapped and replaced.

It is vital that the Widerstand's fleet is fully functional and so we hope you take our concerns seriously and work towards solving the issues of supplies of material.

With all due respect, you don't need to tell me about our supply scarcity; I've had N-mail texts and transmissions all standard week telling me. The central committee's passed another austerity agreement among the Party proper because so many of our resources are going into Nuremberg and the Underground.

As to your request; Yes, we'll draft and push for approval a supply-based operation to at least ensure our efficiency in Northern Rheinland for the time being. As for the shipments themselves, I leave them fully in your hands. Draft an order of materials and supplies you find necessary, and I'll grant you carte blanche command on the convoys themselves.

Me, on the other hand; I'm afraid I have a fair amount of intra-party jostling left to worry about, to say nothing of juggling these operations. I'll likely need to put one on hold and relegate what logistics we can muster to your tasks; and provide what martial aid we can to other Sects in Munich.

At least by doing the latter, we can focus on what made our reputation in the Widerstandsarmee concrete - Our pilots and their skills.
