Hmm...

Admin fails to vote on a case-by-case basis.

Admin losses Administering power for a short duration.

Focus of that lost vote is put through public opinion.

Next case.

I bet Karst's ban was one of the "closer" ones. So let's assume he is close to the 70 % mentioned.
How many Admins voted on him?

You claim it is more votes than 5.
How many were there?

How many people have left Disco and never will back after something in what Karst and "Co" was engaged ?
How many ? What is you's opinion ? ^

Why would it be unreasonable to expect an Admin to be capable of separating his player self, with connections, friends, emotions, player preferences, goals and ambitions, from his Admin self, supposedly objective, fair in judgement, etc.? Why would it be unreasonable to expect such in a roleplay community where we already expect players to separate themselves from their characters and inRP from ooRP? How about thinking of it as just another role to play? The role of a fair judge, how about that?

Because, as an example, I've already been accused of bias against Congress in this very thread, although I wasn't in any official faction at the time when I voted on matters they disapproved of. I never even fired a shot at one of their ships in game. I only did what I thought was best for the server within the scope of the rules. Now, if after that kind of neutral, objective stance, I still get accused of bias, how much more unbearable would those accusations be if I were part of the [LN] faction at the time. Their screams would carry some legitimacy and still be ringing in my ears to this day. Better to take away any legitimate cries of bias, imho.

For the love of god, Bob. If you feel everything's so wrong without your shining presence showing them the way, then why you don't apply for the green-team again and actually try to put through the changes you deem so much needed. Because that worked so smoothly the last two times, right?

But no, instead you pollute the forums with what must've been the fourth or fifth thread about the same topic already basically.
Could you, please, just go away?

Have you considered perhaps reading the suggestions he's making and providing constructive feedback? Or are you too busy trying to shut down any sort of discourse in order to try and make yourself look better in the eyes of the administration team? If you haven't got anything useful to say, perhaps it is you who should go away instead of being insufferable adding to the general toxicity surrounding these events.

Hello, mods? Yeah, they're at it again. Yeah, after you just told 'em to knock it off.

E: They actually did it, the absolute madmen!

Garrett was in the team at least twice and obviously thinks that he can't have what he wants pushed through whilst being part of the staff, so he's now throwing stones from the outside. A very charming behaviour, supported by a great flock of followers. You just fall for it, that's all.

Ah yes, the usual "if you don't agree with me you're naïve and have fallen for tricks" argument. It is entirely impossible for me to agree with someone based on the merit of their arguments. Perhaps continue posting when your claims have some sort of evidence or merit behind them.

I'm finished now, this is too much derailing as it is.

From my own experience, I gather that bias free decisions are possible most of the time, and certain people may indeed be able to separate from such things, so it all falls down to who those people are and are they able to do it. However, I don't think there's any room for comparison with real life judges (if that's what you refer to). Judges do that job, but they studied for years, and get paid for their jobs.

What we ought to expect is that most admins will take their responsibility seriously and try very hard to not be blatantly biased. Following that, the most we can hope is that the various subtle biases each admin has will interact with and cancel out the other subtle biases the other admins have, such that the net bias is largely neutral.
