A wild/infected ID at the shrine would actually make more sense than the nomad morph, for several reasons:

-The way the shrine is set up. Human flies to there, and becomes nomad. It's more logical and IRP for the human char to become infected there, than to turn into a blue squid baby out to explore the universe

-It's easier to RP and infected human than to nomspeak

-It's possible that the infected human learn the ways of the nomads IRP after being infected, via real IRP character progression, instead of being suddenly a nomad baby flung out into the hostile world to learn (which never made any sense in the first place)

As for the usual "oh you just wanna pew with no RP" strawman arguments that are flung around as always... a human infected actually has more RP potential than the repetitive ***stuff*** that nomads cough up before opening fire.

For those who say that the wilde ID needs a special rephack:

Shouldn't it be possible without too much trouble to make the IFF "hacked" to stay LN or KNF or RM, while the REP is neutral-no-dock or red? That seems to happen when you use droprep: the tag only changes when you undock, not when you drop the rep.

Either way, "infiltrators" or "under-cover" nomads can already be easily RPed without the wilde ID. Trying to make Wilde and undercover faction is waving something in other people's face (ID and faction TAG) and expecting them to pretend they don't see it. It's doomed to fail just like the "YOU CANT NOW IM A PIRATE!!" pirate IDed geniuses. RP wilde as infected nomads who aren't discreet about it. RP "undercover nomads" as people who really look and act like they're undercover. Not only for everyone else's sanity sake, but also for your own sake.
