MESSAGE CLASS: TEXTUAL
ENCRYPTION: MEDIUM
PRIORITY: MEDIUM
TO: ADMIRAL DRIEDRIK STERR, RM
FROM: RESERVE CAPTAIN ERHARDT MEISSNER, RNC SEYDLITZ

Herr Admiral,

This is the Seydlitz reporting the fights of the last weeks.
The first one to be mentioned was a large scale attack on New Berlin by a fleet of Hessian warships and fighters. The battle took place near Bonn station and we were able to take out their capital forces, whereafter the Seydlitz moved back to the docks. In this fight we managed to take out the new Carrier the Hessians field, the [RHA]RHC-Yggdrasil, shall they never forget that our might cannot be overcome with a foreign toy.

The second fight took place in the same week, when the Seydlitz was ordered to assist the RNC Karlsruhe wich was under fire by two long range cruisers near and later in a dense asteroid field. We crushed one of the cruisers while the second one fled, leaving his Genossen to die.

The third one is the most noteable.
We got multiple warnings of hostile forces in Munich, so the RNC-Tegethoff, the RM|Testoasa and the Seydlitz moved to assure the safety of Rheinland. Arriving in Munich we did not encounter anything but got a a tip by a Kruger vessel that the enemy formed up in Frankfurt. We then searched in this system, eventually encountering a Hessian fleet at the Munich jumpgate where they must have newly formed up.
The RM|Testoasa did not stay for the fight, but was replaced by the Reform, another cruiser, wich made us stand with two cruisers and one battleship against one battleship and four cruisers.
The Hessians talked something about bigger threats, I assume they wanted to get us close to mow us down. The Tegethoff decided to use them staying close to the lanes, and fell out very close to their battleship. Their battleship and one cruiser went down till we lost the Tegethoff, leaving the Reform and the Seydlitz surrounded by three cruisers and under heavy fire.
By staying together and wearing them down slowly we managed to overcome those as well.
In the end we lost the Tegethoff, but the enemy lost four Vidars and one battleship.
The Reform and Seydlitz then returned after there were no more targets for our ships.

Herren;

Stellar work. Not only did you and the men alongside you defeat the enemy in a very important area of our sovereign space, you did so against odds most other soldiers would have backed away from. You'll be glad to hear that the RNC-Tegetthoff is currently under repairs from the Daumann Heavy Construction teams and will soon be fully operational again.

The Rheinland Militär is proud of your actions and display of courage. You set expectations hard to surpass for the rest of the Rheinwehr. May the rest of our piloten be as resourceful as you were today so that we keep pushing for a greater Rheinland.

I'm proud to award the captains of the RNC-Seydlitz and "Reform" alongside their fearsome crews the Anti-Capital Ribbon in its bronze variant.

The captain of the RNC-Tegetthoff and his crew are awarded with the Anti-Capital Ribbon in its silver variant.

Wear it proudly and make good example to our comrades so that they are inspired to fullfil even greater deeds.

Hochachtungsvoll
Admiral Driedrik Sterr
