Men and women of the Bundschuh,

Times are tough, that is something that we all know. Zwickau is lost, Luneburg is invaded, and recently the Corsair have been spotted at our very front door. However, we will stay strong as we always have. The Volksrevolution has not been characterised by strength in numbers, but always in our strength of character.

We have also been shook hard by the disappearance of our beloved Oberst, Erich Klugmann, as well as our charismatic, powerful, and feared Parteivorsitzende, Freya Eistochter. We all feel this loss together, deeply. However, we should not let these emotions cloud our thoughts and obscure our judgements, and make us believe things that at any other time would seem impossible. The evidence behind these so-called "convictions" are sketchy at best, and the Zentralkommitee will have much to answer for in the next few months.

The Zentralkommitee will answer to the people of the Bundschuh, and I will hold them accountable personally. I hereby announce my candidacy for Parteivorsitzender of the Bundschuh. The diplomacy and strong will represented by Klugmann and Eistochter has allowed the Vereinigte Widerstandsarmee, and by extension the whole Bundschuh to thrive like never before. I make a promise to you all today to keep the Bundschuh on this glorious track, but to also expand our horizons and make use of all the resources we have at hand.

I will better utilise our connection to the Red Hessians than what we did before. While their methods are sometimes deplorable, they are invaluable resources with their large manufacturing and repair capabilities. By fully utilising this, together we will be able to create a better-outfitted fleet of fighters, and defend ourselves from the oppression of the Rheinwehr. I know as a seasoned Bundschuh pilot the difficulties we all share, and I promise to you that under my leadership these problems will almost cease.

Do not let the party politics make you forget the essence of what it is to be in the Bundschuh. We are strong through our shrewd diplomacy, clever tactics and strength of character. It is important Genosse, that we stick together, and with me the Bundschuh will not only regain it's former prowess, but go further beyond than it has ever seen.
