How would this mandatory registration system be different from the mandatory registration system we already operate?

Bad idea. It would allow other faction's indie-capwhores to see whether or not there are Corsair caps online, and therefore whether it is safe to go on one of their OORP Crete orbits.

No longer active online due to a dwindling amount of non-PvP (trading, pirating, mining, etc.) fun in the new version.

Something about keeping them within the Omegas and Gamma if they aren't escorted wasn't it? Don't have the new IDs page to hand.

no.. cruisers and rest of caps above only with guard ID (given from admins)

Are you sure about it being admin given? Since that's not what i heard, but i'm not in the dev-team, so what do i know.

It isn't given by the admins, however you'll require green (not full, but green is still hard to get) Guard rep to get it. So you can't just go to Crete, get a bribe and do a couple of missions and then be all set for your Praefect.

If nothing changes with "getting rep. process" then it will only delay every new cruiser a couple of hours.
Rep fixing with 12 turrets and cruiser shields is fairly easy.


But what with the people that already have them ? Dont think they'll be forced to sell them ...
