Time to Party in December! - What Events would you like to have from AFC?

Hello guys.

It's been a tough semester and for the winter break it would be great to have some events kicking and have some fun to relax and chill a little!
I'm sure all of your share similar feelings if you are in school or what not. Even if working, the holidays are coming up, ye?

So while planning a for these events, I want to ask the community what types of events from the AFC you guys want to have? What do you like and what is popular from what we did?

Event types:

- Race Wars [Lane Racing]
- Ring Racing
- Random Jump Racing
- Race around the Star
- Party Event
- Hegemon Rumble [Race using lanes with Hegemons and interceptors]
- Police Chase
- Cargo race event (kinda works-ish)
- ... Other?

I hope I didn't miss anything here but that's from what I can dig in my head at the moment that we can do. Feel free to post ideas too.

Also a good thing is that I am trying to have, as we have seen from our last event, other people in the faction like my VP being able to host events too. This would mean that even if I cannot do it, someone else can take my place to host events. The last event proved to be a success for this and I'd like to do more.

Oh and... I keep saying this but look forward to seeing AFC party ships at your local house space ^^.

The Blind Jump Races are definitely the most fun thing I've seen. I guess they are pretty annoying in the postprocessing, as you need to get all your bustards back to the start system again - if you don't have admin-support here. The chance of landing in desolate systems is quite interesting, to be honest, and thankfully every system actually has a jump hole back to normal space. (I checked that via Online-Navmap and Mod Studio, the reduxed systems always have at least a jump hole, if not even a sun as well.)

What I'd like to see would be not always having Baffin as starting place, as it always brings us to Gallia or Liberty (the puerto rican race was nice, no question). Maybe you can contact a few friends of the AFC, factionwise, to get other factions support for the events. Maybe you could even get the few Hogoshans to come to the event as rivals. Wouldn't that be cool? Like, no critical PvP, but maybe something were all participants can have fun. Bickering at each other included. ;3

I should do some test jumps with afc crew to see how often random jumps do close proximity jumps. who knows, we might have just been unlucky.
I could be able to change the scenery, though... Perhaps Freeport 1?

Also, i got a great location (maybe) for another race around the star.... and it is quite dangerous...
