Polyhymnia is one of the oldest Vagrants today. Hailing from before the Nomad War, Polyhymnia has fought together with Dione by the Dyson Sphere, though was powerless just like anybody else. Surviving the trip through the Hypergate relatively unharmed compared to other, smaller Nomads, Polyhymnia soon found itself put into a position where the fact that its vessel wasn't as damaged as others necessitated it to assume the role of central node for a makeshift Minishare network established in the unknown sector they had been brought to. Chosen to return to Sirius due to its exceedingly good abilities of organizing the lesser minds in its care, Polyhymnia is one of the three central nodes that keep the Vagrant Minishare running in Sirius.
