Greetings Guildkeeper Raven,

This is Guildmaster Smith speaking from Tau-23, onboard Flagship Comoros. This message is addressed to you only as we are puzzled by your Battlegroup's latest activities and would prefer to solve this situation without more friction.

First of all, we would like to inquire what's the purpose of Auxesia being back in Omicron Delta. So far what we have seen is that you are taking advantage of the conflict in order to inflict heavy casualties on the Order, irrelevant of the fact that the Order is defending the local Zoners in the war which the Core declared on them.

Secondly, as you are aware IMG has created an aid corridor for the besieged Zoners and their allies. Considering your Battlegroup's reluctance to fight against the Core or the alien threat, should our assets expect support should we come under fire?

And finally, I would like to iterate our surprise when your assets have stood idly during the alien attacks and did not get involved. As far as we are aware the elimination of the nomad threat is your group's main objective and the primary reason of why we support it, so we are interested in knowing why some nomads are considered 'peaceful' by your organization while at the same time you have shifted your attention on fighting the premier anti-nomad force of Sirius, the Order, both on the battlefield and in the news media.

We are eagerly awaiting for your response.

Sincerely yours,
Guild Master Alan Smith

Interesting.

It appears, that the words have spread around and influencing others yet again. I am beginning to be insulted, Guildmaster, that you seem to hold some form of minor distrust. Or perhaps I am not, for that you have queried for a wider view, which I shall indulge you upon.

Now, for the first question, our intention there was to peacekeep the Freeport, not to start an open engagement and then provoke the Core into sieging the Freeport, during these period, we conducted investigations as to what was happening and if there were any viable solutions to the arising matter. Starting the conflict wasn't our intentions. Although, whilst we did attempt to avoid provocation, there were scenarios where we covertly removed some Core ships. We just needed to be careful with our deployed resources, as they were limited at the time.

Two. This can be linked to the first answer. Now that the Core has not only critically damaged the Freeport, but also have announced that they're holding a very important figure to us, Finn McCool of Ingenuus, we have been given the need to more than ever, destroy them. We're currently reallocating war assets up to the Omicrons to meet up with our Battlegroup, prioritizing their destruction over espionage. This could have been handled without bloodshed, but, here we are...

For your last part... What? Our assets have /NOT/ been idle. A few examples to name: I personally contributed by destroying a pirate under the name of Tutashkhia, along with his friends, who attempted to extort an IMG Convoy right outside the Freeport. I defended the Freeport when Commune were trying to attack and loot vessels outside. Our patrols have destroyed Nomad vessels. The Viper's blackbox indicates it also escorted an IMG Convoy from Kappa to Omega-49. I'm aware that other patrol vessels have also assisted the Miners Guild and the Zoners on multiple occasions too. Unfortunately for me, the cases where the Maltese were pirating outside the Freeport, my guncam images of this scenario have corrupted.

She lets out an extended long and tired sigh. It was obvious they were exhausted, lacking sleep.

As for your claims about us standing idly by when Nomads ravaged Delta, no... No, that is not the case at all.

I will explain to you what that arrogant independant Zoner Pilot failed to comprehend, or perhaps even tried to manipulate the scenario for the worse.

The Vagrants, the one we "ignored" - were NOT the ones who caused the bomb. The Vagrants are a part of an entirely different Mindshare. That means they can act upon their own accord within that Mindshare. Imagine it as an octopus, you have two of them. The tentacles connect to their own respective body, that is their mind, their way of processing logic, but they're not the same body, and they have different ways of executing logic.

As for these Vagrants, they will tend to leave people alone if they aren't disturbed or provoked, simply show disinterest in hostility, and so shall they. Unless you're carrying an item related to the Nomads. As for the Delta bombings, well, the only vessel that was available was my personal Capital Vessel, the Eidolon Wraith. I was alone, surrounded and heavily outnumbered. I had to retreat to Kappa as I was unable to fight, requiring restoration to the ship's energy capacitors. You must understand that the Wraith is my home, and is probably one of the most currently few expensive ships out there in all of Humanity. It does its job. Stealth. Support. Not taking on an /entire/ fleet of Nomads and Core in one go.

Concerning the Order... Bah. They've attempted to make a claim on my life and on the /younger/ part of my family - who are incapable of even defending themselves - numerous times. I told them I would enact any threat they make to me. Though, I have yet to actually witness them attempting to participate in this situation in any form of help. No transports. No escorts. Nothing. Either way, they declared the war - not us, and now, they pay the price for their blood lust. I have no respect for Golanski's megalomania and his brainwashed minions.

Am I being carelessly arrogant? No. I'm picking my targets carefully. I won't shoot those who actually help the Zoners and not use them as meatshields. They've been known to manipulate people to profit their own gain in the past, I'm not letting them do that again. In the end, this is my lesson to them about thinking twice before they attempt to lay down their 'control' on others. Besides, we know more about the Core than they do anyway.

Perhaps I blabbered on too much, perhaps not, peeeeeerhaps so. But that is the repurcussion of fatigue. The situation is dire and requires my full-on attention. Now... If you need help, do call. We'll be around.

Guildkeeper Raven,

Thank you for your response. It is good to hear that the Auxesian forces will now concentrate on the Core assets, instead of its previous target, even though the hour is late; a NEMP bomb has already been detonated on FP11 and the CoF head is abducted by the Core. I believe this wouldn't have happened if all of us presented a united front against the aggressor.

What concerns me the most my dear, is the indifference of your group towards some nomads. I am a veteran of the Nomad War and I know first-hand how nomads turned the humans against each other. It's not the first time that people are tricked by "peaceful" nomads through persuasion, telepathy or infectees working for their interests. I sincerely hope the first option happened in your case.

Thus, the only way to obstruct that kind of subversion by a verified enemy of humanity is constant vigilance. We cannot let our guard down, we cannot tolerate to have partners which are not enemies with some of them.

Under normal circumstances I would be the last person in Sirius to say that, but I would like to ask you reevaluate this relationship for the sake of ours, Guildkeeper.

Sincerely yours,
Guild Master Alan Smith

I'm aware of how people think of the Nomads, and I'm aware that caution should /always/ be practiced when it comes to the Nomads. I have experience upon this matter as I have spent the majority of my time studying them, but, for your comfort, these Vagrants are more rare occurances when it comes to the Nomads and will be carefully watched. They tend to be my favourable little experiment, helping me learn more about Nomad's psychology and how they operate.

Of course, I'm still going to shoot infested vessels and any other type of Nomad. If I see Vagrants shooting Zoners or IMG first, then, I will have to intervene and to defend the innocent. (Just clarifying; the innocent are the Miners and Zoners, hah.)

Once again, they're part of a different Mindshare. But that doesn't make them immune to judgement. Mrrrhhh. We'll see.

Guildkeeper Raven,

Thank you for your response. The Guild finds your answers satisfactory even though I would like to urge caution once again. However, as we cannot share the same optimism, it is decided that all Auxesian personnel docking on an IMG base will be subjected in a quick screening for nomad contamination. It should be mentioned that this measure will not be enforced immediately as we'll have to purchase the devices from the Order first and distribute them to all of our bases and IMG planetary settlements.

I would also like to share the Board's congratulations for your latest achievements against the Core military machine, the embattled Zoners of Omicron Delta gravely needed the support.

As for this supposedly splinter nomad group being part of a different Mindshare, we lack the expertise to comment on this subject. I suppose you connected in this Mindshare and found out Regardless, I would advise you to share this knowledge with the Order since despite your differences this is a subject which can be bring you together.

Sincerely yours,
Guild Master Alan Smith

I am in no way affiliated to the Slomon K'Hara, and I assure you none of our personnel will ever be afflicted to such ways. If you truly feel discomforted by our processes of learning, then I suppose I should be apologizing for such. We are no strangers to manipulation, hence why we have been approaching these sort of topics with utmost caution.

If you wish to initiate scans, fine. As for the Order, well, that's up to them if they'll put aside their ego to bother about seeing the scenario.

Hrmph.

See you on the fronts.
