Her hand raised to provide more of the tasty beverage, while she heard Murphy's story. After he finished, Kaze decided to pick on Murphy. "Oh dear me. A commoner's tale." The smirk on her lips was playful and clearly demonstrating that she was up to mischief.

"All fine and good. But you have not told me everything, Thomas." The glass raised once more to refresh her throat and lips.

"You mentioned a hangover. I remember myself making some bad choices under the effect. And well.." Her small smirk was tell tale she was remembering something of her past. "Some really weird ones as well." The music was becoming livelier, the patrons were more happy and time seemed to just flow.

There she was, happily talking about life with a colleague, deep in a pub, filled with life. Kaze raised her finger before Murphy could speak. "And no, I will not speak of such weird choices, before you ask."

Her smile was simple. "After all. A lady must have some secrets. Or else we become too boring."

Grabbing her glass again, she leaned forward to hear him better. "Now, tell me more."

Thomas slyly hid his smirk behind the pint glass while taking another sip. Hearing some of her more exotic stories while under the influence of alcohol would've been interesting. He left his nearly finished drink back on the table before leaning forward towards the table as well. "Very well, miss, I will indulge you with that story as well" his smirk got wider. This wasn't even that good of a story in reality but nothing that couldn't be fixed with some artistic freedom which the ensign planned to use to his full ability.

"It all started in a pub very similar to this one, you see. It was a few days back, on my birthday." his eyes drifted across the rest of the pub away from the captain for a swift moment. "It was a good reason as any to celebrate my release from Newgate last year as well so me and the boys were preparing for a heavy night" he let out a slight chuckle just from remembering all the celebration that night. He straightened his back and leaned backwards onto his seat before continuing his story.

"So fast forward a lot of whiskey and me and the gang were the only people left in the bar, it was way past midnight so the bar owner comes to the table trying to tell us to go be drunk somewhere else as the place's closing. So Matty, my mate is all like 'Ey, can't ya see we're celebrating Tommy here's birthday ya bastard?' at the lad." Thomas paused the story for two reasons - to refresh his lips with that tasty pint and to tease the captain with this delay. "But the man was probably tired of drunk asses telling him what to do so he just says in a serious tone 'If you don't get out of my pub right now I'm calling the police'. Now all this was months after I was released the memory of Newgate still haunted me so I instinctively stood up and pulled Matty up with me by his collar and muttering 'Yessir, we'll be out right away, sir' with the rest of the guys at the table looking at me funny and probably contemplating if I deserve to be in trouble again, the bastards." the insult at the end he muttered before stopping again for another sip of his drink. Thomas looked at his glass, it was starting to get empty again. He was having a good time with the captain and the pint was going down smoothly.

"Eeeither way" he slurred the beginning, "the lads decided to go easy on me and we decided it was time to pay the bill." his grin widened as he leaned forward again, this was one of the good parts of the story. "So I get the bill and try to focus my eyes on it to see the amount I gotta give this guy and the end sum looks way off. So I look at my guys and one of them just looks at me mischievous 'What's the matter, Murphy? Didn't you like that good whiskey I treated you to?' and at that point my mind clicks, he ordered some quite expensive stuff when it was his round to go to the bar and talk to the bartender. 'Ey, you knew very well I won't be able to afford paying for expensive stuff, mate' I say staring at his face like I'm about to beat him but being just as drunk as me he takes it as a big joke 'Don't be all like that, Thomas, it's your birthday, you knew you had to treat your friends well'. Now I doubt I need to tell you, miss, that the bartender doesn't look all too pleased about this. Nobody likes freeloaders after all." his eyes locked on his glass that was nearing it's end. Perhaps it would've been even more teasing if he made another pause, after all it seems the captain was really into the story after the last hook.

He quickly turned the cup's bottom up as the last of his drink went down his throat. With an innocent face he looked down at the now empty glass as if to signal he can't just continue this great story with an empty glass.

With an eyebrow raised and an amused smirk on her lips, Kaze picked up both pint glasses and rolled her eyes. "Right away, your lordship." Thomas kicked back in his seat, full of himself and with a grin splattered all over his face. Kaze walked over to the counter and placed the empty pint glasses.

"Oy, guv'na. Fill them up, will'ya?" She talked loudly, with a deep cockney accent and turned her back against the counter, eyeing each and everyone in the bar with a devilish grin. Those eyes had already been trailing her and Murphy for some time, and Kaze felt that she should draw the line sooner with her tongue than later with her fists.

"Aye, I look like yer normal Kuey. Slant eyes and all that. And if ye havin' a problem with little ol' me.." She trailed each and one of the faces there. "I'll show ya how Bretonian my fists are." The grin on her face drove the point home. The bartender silently placed the new batch of pints.

Kaze picked one up and raised the glass to everyone in the room. "Bretonia." She toasted, and was followed by many in the pub. With that out of the way, Kaze picked the other pint glass and walked over to Murphy's table, putting it in front of him.

Sitting, she puffed a small strand of hair in front of her face and looked at Murphy. "Do proceed, Thomas." Kaze spoke with a bemused look in her face and sipped her pint.
