"I ain't sayin' I was right 'r wrong doing it. I ain't sayin' nothin', in fact. But the point is, bein' connected with that durned Liberty Militia idea was...stupid."
- on his arrest

After being connected with the short-lived and ill-conceived Liberty Militia, Jack Agincourt was found guilty of treasonous intents and actions, and sentenced to an undetermined incarceration. His previous funds were frozen and repurposed, and his assets taken - upon his eventual release, Jack would be penniless and back to square one.

"Dunno which was worse. Avoidin' droppin' the soap in them showers 'r findin' out I'd lost everything when I got out. Oh. And them doctors said I still needed my medicine. 'N that my liver weren't holdin' up to the drink I was puttin' in it. On the upside, I got me a new ship..."
- on his release

It took Jack considerably longer than anticipated, but eventually he regained Captaincy of his own vessel - a Percheron class transport ship which he nicknamed 'Militia's Intent'. For now, Jack seems content to sit back and ply his usual trade - remap many of his old routes and expand his list of contacts.

"What can I say? I ain't happy. I ain't sad. I'm jus' flyin' 'n I guess tha's 'nough, right? Jus' a guy with a ship. Tha's what I is 'n tha's what I'll be."

Morality, like art, means drawing a line someplace.
