Saying you were engaging in Tactical Logistics Reconfiguration, was a way to Buzz Word someone in the Navy that had no clue about utilities. What it really meant, was up for debate, but in general was used to refer to any number of minor utilities work and system updating. In this particular case, it referred to a slight overhaul in Harmony's refrigeration systems, specifically those of the coolers in Mess Hall 037A, on Deck 5.
Someone had mentioned the panel of the cooler could get a slight bit warm, to most people that wasn't really anything to worry about. Except someone had notified a friend casually, and it had winded up in Utilities. So now Utilitiesman White was exchanging the interior paneling of the power converter system with a ventilated mould cover, ensuring a slightly more efficient dispersion of heat from the drinks cooler. Job Done.
