I feel that replacing the lights would be overly complicated as there are too many on each ship and customisation would be difficult. However as first ask would it be possible for the engines to be customisable as most ships have 1-3 engine trails (i know some have huge numbers) and would therefore be easier

Lights can be changed... there are inbeded into the ship script file by memory... (someone may correct me there... been a while u know) and thus as they are designated in the text file they must be changed threw one or two means...
IronCross....
or
In the text file its self.....
Well at least that the way I allways did it.... someone who is more experianced at modding may know other ways.... that i am not aware of......
Anyways both of the above ways are both time consuming and require admin particpation which i would hesitate a guess at means IT WONT BE DONE......
coz I would recon the admins have neough on there plate without adding everyones requets for different lights and engins all the time :P
ps sorry about spelling havent installed word yet :)

Let's let the Admins solve the lag problem first! A lot of stuff can be done, can we wait for the worst problem that's plaguing the server to be solved?
I'm sure that installing some applications that enable us to do some stuff like transfering money, namechanges and so on can just create more problems in the beginning. I say - be patient and solve the things one by one.
Since I'm about the lag, just one notice - around 2 am GMT to 3 pm GMT I'm completely lag-free it happens every day from 3 pm GMT to 2 am GMT the lag becomes huge at times then the server resets and sometimes gets back okay, sometimes it's the same - red all the way...

If the stars should appear one night in a thousand years, how would men believe and adore and preserve for many generations the remembrance of the city of God? - from 'Nightfall' by I. Asimov The Outcasts consider Siniestre Nube a sacred place for several reasons. Early explorers discovered a jumphole within the depths of the cloud that leads to a strange world of ringed stars and strange craft. All ships in the burrial ground are placed facing that hole to honor the Alien Spirits. - An Outcast rumor
