Freelancing Escorts & Repairs [FL-ER]

We've been pretty inactive, compared to a few months ago. Most of our members have been inactive and are losing interest mainly because most of the RP we get is PoB supply contracts (though I admit the time difference between countries doesn't help), with a few exceptions. Those get boring quickly, expecially when you've been getting them since late 2014- yearly 2015. I've been trying to do some things here and there, I've been taking care of a cruiser we were given, being part of RP to create a smuggling alliance between FL-ER/AFC/HA/UN and I've even tried to sell some NEMPs to Harmony, but its mostly things I've been doing alone, as most of our members log rarely these days and mostly to keep Poena fed and deliver some supplies to Marshall Station. What we would like to have: [X] PvP-related RP - Most of our members are getting bored and the most common suggestion from them has been for us to get some enemies to have something other then PoB supplying to do. [X] Diplomacy [ ] Cooperation [X] Competition - Getting a rival faction from a freelancer/smuggler group or even a corp that dislikes us to compete with, would be fun and might be enough to get people (myself included) logging more often. [ ] Humanitarian Help [ ] Construction [ ] Science [ ] Exploration [X] Trading [X] Escorts/Convoy [ ] Riddles [ ] Salvaging [ ] Mining [X] Smuggling - Most of our money and trading time comes from smuggling as we find it more entertaining than regular trading and most of our allies have also been made by smuggling goods for factions that can't otherwise get them or distribute them, like the corsairs, unioners or Harmony. The Free Brigands of Gallia - FB|

FB|, or the Free Brigands of Gallia, has a number of issues that come with pretty much all other Gallic factions: restrictive ZOI with no one in what ZOI we do have. The Brigands are a piracy/smuggling faction so we are no exception to this and thus it's best that we try and make activity wherever possible. Currently, we spend most of our time stalking the Taus, trying to catch GMS, or smuggling goods from one point to another. To expand on the smuggling, it's mostly just moving goods from one bad sell point to another since all we have is Gallia/Taus/Omicron Alpha in terms of logical inRP trade routes. What we would like to have: [X] PvP-related RP - Within the Brigands we are lacking enemies that log often or are on a similar skill level as us (which is pretty shambolic tbh). We currently shoot GRN and CR exclusively as there ain't many others that we see. Other pews would be appreciated. [X] Diplomacy - We are looking for both allies and enemies. We also want to do RP with our existing allies, [C] & [UC]. [X] Cooperation - See above. [X] Competition - RP around this and inRP games could be fun. [ ] Humanitarian Help [ ] Construction [ ] Science [X] Exploration - Brigands are pretty much exclusive Gallia so we inRP don't know much about Sirius. [X] Trading - See opening summary. [ ] Salvaging [ ] Mining [X] Smuggling - See Above. [X] Tiny Conflicts - The Brigand political structure has been created in a way to make it seem unstable. There are constant attempts within the Brigands to gain more power and control. From an outside viewpoint, we are seeking maybe a small string of mini events with our enemies/allies. This would generate some much-needed activity as well as create a (hopefully) enjoyable experience. [ ] Infiltration in other groups [X] Infiltration by other groups - The Brigands are pirates and thus allows pretty much anyone into their ranks. See where we're going with this? I spent a good long while creating that thread to describe many different things that go on within the bar to hopefully encourage people to visit and RP there. That could then by extension perhaps create some ties between characters/groups and the Brigands. [ ] Belles Lettres [ ] Crime Fiction [ ] Philosophical [X] Humor - Being a Brigand means you have fun. (I blame Shalo.) [X] Other* * The Brigands are an interesting faction with a huge amount of RP potential, or so I would say. I honestly believe that the hardest part of this faction is going to be the start and that being considered I think we are doing well thus far. There are three main things we need currently: members, activity points, & peeps to RP with. Members - There is currently 6 of us, yet due to RL constraints, among other things, only three of us regularly log. More members would allow us to do all the other things more effectively. Activity Points - I summed it up pretty well above but things like more people to pew, RP with, or maybe a mini event chain would help massively. Peeps to RP with - See point two.
