Doc faced his hosts, his hands together in front of him as he stood by the closing doors which closed in front of him. It was a measure of respect. Once the doors closed, he returned to his now empty ship.
"Glacier, this is the Marshall Earp commencing separation sequence," said Doc into his comm system. Sitting in his pilot's chair, he disengaged the locks and his freighter floated free of the Glacier. He took a moment to look at it as he drifted back. It WAS a marvelous piece of hardware. He always did like the design of Bounty Hunter style ships.
"Glacier, this is the Marshall Earp, I will be getting some pilgrims at Freeport 11 before leaving the system. Have a great day," he declared. He then sent one final transmission, "Mr. Frost, again, thank you."
Engaging his cruise engine, Doc headed for Freeport 11.
