I don't particularly mind people farming NPCs for bats and nanos during fights as I don't see that as such a great tactic in itself. I mean, the guy has to turn his back to you in order to pursue an NPC and most of the times, unless he manages to insta-kill it, the NPC will waste all of its reserves before the guy benefits from it as NPCs in Disco are particularly adept at using their regens. What people sometimes do is clog the battlefield with mines so the NPCs will get killed by chance while he keeps on fighting. In that case, if you're attentive enough, their efforts can benefit you as when the ship is destroyed the stuff is pretty much for grabs by whoever tractors them in first.
What happens sometimes is that NPCs will be caught in the crossfire accidentally, as in when people are dropping a lot of mines. In this case too, whoever is paying attention can tractor in the loot.
What is really cheap is people farming their own NPCs, but to be honest with you I don't see a lot of that happening.
All in all, there's no way to enforce anything regarding this matter bar having people not intentionally shoot their own NPCs (and even that is hard to capture on screenshots). It's part of the game, better we learn to live with it.
I never bother trying to get after the NPC's, because i know alot of tactics to kill and counter other enemies attacks. Also once you shoot one NPC they ALL start shooting you, and thats bad if your outside Planet Manhattan with a battleship patrol nearby....
[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

If your fast enough you can suck in the loot before they can as well. That'll tick them off.
If the NPCs were killed accidently and there's bots floating around in space then it's free game. They have just as much chance to pick up the bots/bats as you do, so I'd consider that fair. But honestly anyone who wastes time farming npcs in the middle of a pvp fight really should just flee or stand and die.

Some guys (I wont mention him here) Are so good in this 'tactic' that you hardly ever could target him even if he is farmin npc.

Then perhaps you're better off not fighting them in the first place. If they manage to outfly you while not paying attention to you shooting at him without being fired upon, what will they do to you when they do turn their attention back to your ship?

Take the opportunity and run for your life.
Another thing to remember Gronath is that the practice is maintained in places like Liberty, where 'farming' an npc is the work of all of two seconds, as opposed to trying to down a Titan in two seconds. With minimal effort an entire group of bloodhounds can be vaporized leaving behind a solid group of regens.
Furthermore, shooting at something dodging to the best of his extent isn't always terribly easy, why people frown on folks who so enjoy "shield running" mid fight to stretch combat out to an eternity. This practice is simply taking it to the next level.
That being said, anti threads are frowned upon. Keep it civil in here or this one goes poof.
And if you don't know what I mean by civil, then don't post.
And because I don't trust that to happen, don't post anything specifically complaining about a single faction/ship. I.E. Bounty Hunters/Grey Hounds/Xenos/Your mom. That's how issues begin.
I shut one thread because it is a 'trial by forum,' and you move it here ? I'm afraid not sir ... That post
vanishes, and I will ask you nicely, not to do it again

I agree with you guys that accidental NPC kills producing regens are fair game. But doing so deliberately is bad form. If I see someone farming the NPCs to get the regens what I do is PM the guy in civil and friendly manner after the fight and explain why I didn't like what you did back there and so on.
How the other guy answers tells a lot about him/her and his/her way of playing the game, doesn't it?
And don't worry "burning him". I a player gets certain kind of reputation from many people it will come out sooner or later. And once you start to get a label on you it does not come off that easily. Don't be the one going there naming names. Let other's do that.
If you are friendly and civil in the post battle PMs chances are you'll achieve the effect. And don't sound like a sore loser guy either in PMs.
The best advice is to quit fighting and leave. Get to safety and then PM him.

I dunno...it's a second wind thing, i do get annoyed when my target shoots npc for bots/nanos but whatever i don't care.
:D
Bot farming isn't much of an issue to me really, I've rarely seen people do it on purpose and when they do you can roast them and tractor the bots in first!
What is annoying is some people observing a fight and killing the NPC's to clear the area as you fight, no its not helping, please dont do it. Happened to me and Zapp awhile ago and we kept having to shake the observers and tell them to stop killing NPC's as it was prolonging an already horribly long fight.
