SRP Request: No FWO Consumption on Falster (Core 5 IMG| POB)

2. What exactly are you requesting?

In accordance with the POV Core 5 rules, we would like to SRP the consumption of FWO away from IMG| Core 5 POB "Falster" in O3.

- With the upgrade to Core 5, wear & tear damage on the base will be disabled, and owners can further request the removal of FOW consumptions through a special roleplay request.

Falster (full title: Falster Trade Center), Core 5 of official IMG| faction
For the money, you can take it from: IMG|Guildfunds

4. Why is this request necessary for the continuation of this character's roleplay?

Falster has been around since 2012, and it is one of the few remaining POBs of the 1st generation. The SRP would help us in reducing the grind that - after 5 1/2 years - is becoming more and more unattractive.
By reducing the grind, we would be able to offer more rp in other ways and focus activity away from tedious FWO flights.

5. What short-term and long-term goals are you planing to achieve on this character?

Goal: Reduce the grindwork and focus on more interesting parts of the game. Putting my creative energy there makes more sense than flying Food/Water/Oxygen to a base.

There are tons of threads that somehow involve Falster over the many years, however I do not think they are relevant enough to be listed here. It would however be easy to prove that way that Falster is a base that is not detrimental to roleplay.


7. Provide a cliffnote/summary for the links provided above.

Synth Food: Falster gets the food for its crew by doing a cooperation with Synth Food on Planet Stuttgart. That's very convenient irply, as IMG flights routinely pass Planet Stuttgart after delivering ore to New Berlin. The contract includes IMG delivering necessary goods to the factories (from Planet NB, e.g.) and those produce the food for the IMG base. IMG haulers and (NPC) Synth Food ships (they have no faction, sadly) do the supplying.

Electrolysis: Falster is in an Ice Field, so there is Water. 4th grade chemistry allows to produce O2 from Water via electrolysis. We are rping around this simple mechanism a little, but there really is not too much to say about the topic. This will lead to a supply contract to get some more engine components and solar panels, but nothing too major (not in the scale as the Falkland New Hope project).

Recycle & Reuse rp with ALG: IMG's long term friends of the ALG are experts in waste management and therefore they are also part of making Falster more self-sufficient by reducing the losses of Food, Water, Oxygen by increasing the effective use of the resources.

8. How long has this character been building its backstory?

Since 5-2012 we have a thread about it to apply. It was built before, obviously. So I think it is fair to say: since the start of 2012.

Falster is a major group effort that more than ten cycles of IMG members have been working on.
