To me that seems you are salty that you now need to apply more skill to battle, but whatever.

If you have a point about pvp balance make a thread about it in the appropriate section - don't derail a thread that has nothing to do with it.

Look for the older threads, I posted enough for you ignorants. Every feedback I had was ignored. I am not derailing, I am telling my opinion and truth that the torpedoes are removed and missiles are ruined. Look for older threads where we discussed this subject.

Be more polite. ~Ramke

This is not related to the thread OP, thus you are derailing - and I would prefer if you took it elsewhere, thank you.

So on a related note:

Whether someone likes the way the mod is going or not does have something to do with whether they decide to vote, because voting positively will also be understood as an endorsement for the way the mod is going.

Furthermore, advertising the mod and community when its in a bad state may be harmful to the mod and community in the future because once new people tried it and didnt like it, most wont try it a second time even when everything they didnt like got fixed. Right now the mod or community's state isnt worse than it's ever been, but it still tends to drive people away rather than make them stay. And the low population and lack of interactions isnt the only reason people are leaving shortly after trying for the first time.

As to what was done with missiles... that's just one of the symptoms of the "noobs fun is less important" attitude which is harmful if you're trying to get more new or casual players to stay and raise population.

People won't have fun if they know they'll always lose unless they're semi-professional gamers between 12 and 30 who spent several months training in Connecticut.

I voted anyway, even though I wish there was no modDB vote until after a lot of things were changed.

Still hanging on because its the only populated Freelancer server left.

Still hanging on for what it could potentially be rather than for what it is.

12 more hours left to cast your vote.
At the moment, we are in the 350-ish rank, which is not great.

________

P.S: And I agree with Karlotta to a high degree. Newbie friendliness is a rather important issue that has been neglected. Yet, I think the game is worth playing and worth voting for.

If we are on 350 th place, that only means there are 349 better/more popular mods.
Our wotes cant change that, only better mod can , one that is more newbie friendly. Maybe then, newbies will start woting for this mod, instead only as, sentiment long time players.

It's not about being the better mod, it's an opportunity to get more people. Stop complaining.
