Kemmerer Supply Station is an extension of The Hyperspace People's influence into the Omicron region of space. Built within viewing distance of the Freeport (note: due to ongoing differences in opinion pending resolution, goods from Freeport 11 are embargoed until further notice; besides we can get Alloys from Philadelphia FASTER due to abusing the Kardashev Scale) and of the facilities orbiting Nauru, the station enjoys the dubious distinction of being right where the action is and as such has a highly structurally reinforced and heavily shielded observation deck to watch the various groups in the area go at it hammer and tongs.

The superstructure is property of Elroy Carpenter, but a large portion of the goods aboard are property of the League, which makes sense because he's Senior Staff. The benefits of this are readily apparent to the crew, as they receive far superior nutrition to the average paste-fed person in this benighted region of space, as well as the constant violence in the area providing a mesmerizing display of pretty lights as various ships and munitions explode with varying degrees of proximity.

The Station itself is kept supplied through a daily supply Jump by the one of the League's merchant Bustards, but for major cargo haulage, various third parties are often contracted.

Within hours of establishment, a veritable flotilla of greedy and unsupervised capital ships engaged in technical barratry and found themselves offloading various spoils of war into the storage lockers, selling their loot at a markup compared to what they could normally expect to be paid for it.

Carpenter's personally discreetly constructed hyperspace merchantman, [CLASSIFIED], takes the various goodies the systems around Omicron Delta tend to have in abundance (Alien Organisms, [REDACTED], Iridium, and certain quantities of ERR: Entry missing or deleted) to certain buyers within House space.

Economically, the floating hunk of metal is surprisingly viable. When entire fleets tend to suffer critical not experiencing explosions to the face failure, there is humanitarian aid and salvage work aplenty to be done. As such, Kemmerer has a fairly decent field hospital, pending further expansionary work.

The contract for on-site security has come open again, with the retinues of the various Senior Staff members he associates with filling in the gap until an appropriate contractor can be found.
