Samura Heavy Industries News Service

Today, a ship carrying a regular shipment of Pharmaceuticals from Planet Denver to Planet Tomioka had lost contact with the communications centre in Shinjuku Station. The ship goes by the name of the Chikusa and is an Akegata-class transport. It's last reported sighting was by a Samura security patrol near Planet Kodo, entering the dangerous Takasaki Dust Field. The patrol also noted a Blood Dragon cruiser and fighter flying nearby without firing on the Chikusa, suggesting the vessel may have been held hostage. According to them, there was no calls of distress from the vessel, but noted it was veering off track from Planet Tomioka. The maintenance crew on board Misaki Station also noted there was no signs of distress or anything odd about the crew as they went in for regular repairs after going through the Kyofu. CEO, Tetsuya Samura, has announced a reward of $50,000,000 for information leading to the finding of the Chikusa.
