Good day. This is Guildmaster Thomas Ryley of the Bounty Hunters Guild. The purpose of this transmission is to hopefully solve an issue that the Guild has recently been facing.

As I am certain everyone is well aware, due to the current ongoing war the various unlawful elements of Liberty have also increased their activity. The Guild has frequently found itself time and time again facing larger and larger enemy vessels. Though the ability of our pilots is extraordinary there are certain situations where the amount of firepower we can bring to bear is simply not enough. With that in mind I would like to know if it would be possible to have an Interdictor classed Battlecruiser turned over for Guild use.

While I understand that this may not simply be possible, I beg you to look back on the long beneficial history of the Guild with the Republic of Liberty. If this request were to be granted, it would be staffed and captained by only our most trusted of hunters. If it were to ease any concerns the Republic might have I'm sure it would also be possible to have a ranking officer on-board at all times to evaluate its usage. Preferably the Republic would also grant usage of an older model, perhaps one set for decommissioning. This should ensure that it will not be missed while also not wasting a newer vessel as it will need to be refitted for our needs anyway.

The vessel itself would primarily be used to help secure core Liberty space against criminal elements, while also having its cargo bay and life support strengthened in order to hold extremely dangerous criminals for transport who may have friends looking to free them. I am hopeful for a favorable response.

We have reviewed your petition to operate an "Interdictor" class Battlecruiser within Liberty space and must decline your request at this time. While the Republic is ever grateful for the work done to keep the criminal elements within our borders in check, we do not at this time believe that the threats within Liberty are significantly advanced enough, or our own ability to respond degraded enough, to warrant the operation of such a vessel by the Guild. We will keep your petition on file, however, and reconsider it if we find circumstances warrant a change.
