Admin Notice: Players Sanctioned

Capt._blanco, O.S.A.T, and U.F.O have all been sanctioned owing to a report posted on the 27/01/2009 for:

6.2 Out of Roleplay (OORP):
In-game tag seen before the name must match the ID as closely as possible. It is not allowed to have the tag not match ID category. For example, it is prohibited to have 'Police' tag and 'Pirate' ID.

6.16 Owners of Trader IDs have a right to attack:

- Pirates

6.21 Attacking without an engagement notice is not allowed. All attacks must be preceded with some form of RP, regardless of NPC faction diplomacy.

Discussion and Consequences:

-O.S.A.T has a Trader ID, that makes any form of action against the lawfuls completely OORP ...

-U.F.O's rep for a Corsair was entirely out of order.

-Blanco apart from his rep, which was utterly wrong, had a cheetah thruster mounted, which is
Outcast only tech. His statement saying he doesn't need to give engagement notice was ironically long enough for a notice of engagement.

AND SO:

-O.S.A.T got a warning note in his hold, needs to be reminded of his ID, and it's parameters ...

-U.F.O got a savage rep tweak, and a sanction note ... Small fine.

-Blanco got got a really savage rep tweak, his (very expensive) thruster removed, and a large fine for his actions, and equipment mounted..
