It would be quite useful if we would be notified about these changes when they happen, not just finding a mention of "it has been like this for a while" god knows how many weeks/months later.

I have no idea when it was changed and by whom.

I noticed because I am a POB Owner/Maintainer and know what my Base requires

It was kind of aimed at those implementing the change, but seeing a base owner sharing the information with us before they did, I guess we'd be still in the dark about this if it's up to them. Thanks for the heads up though.
