I disagree, the current color is pleasant to the eyes. (at least for me)

I think one shade lighter couldn't hurt. It is rather difficult imo.

I used to have the same shade of purple and the text tends to be really hard to read on phones for people.
I changed it to a shade lighter for reading convienence
