As it seems that not many understood what we aim to do, I will further elaborate what Sauron already said.

We did not drop whole Omegas ZOI as our "Systems bordering Bretonia" still give us Omega-3, Omega-5 and Omega-49. Out of systems Gaian ID has lost, I could agree to an extent Omega-2 and Omega-7 could be seen as loss as they are decent spots for piracy, but Gaian ID still has Dublin ZOI which is by far more popular mining option. Remaining systems are either Wild territory or Hessian-Corsair warzone. There's no logical explanation what would Gaians do there and if someone wants to fly Anaconda to fight Hessians, he is free to do so on Corsair ID with 90% core. Gaian would never fight Corsair war.

The reason behind the Omega ZOI drop was to make more space for perks that are currently in plan (some already in motion) that we believe will increase interest in Gaian gameplay, both by adding more ships and equipment to our already large pool, as well as moving the ZOI further into areas that are more active and more appealing for Gaian gameplay, which will most probably involve our Gaian cell based in Vespucci pushing inwards to Kansas, Pennsylvania and Texas.

As for other discussions brought up, I'll give a short comment on them. We are shooting GRN because of dev-imposed story developments, we had nothing to do with it. We accepted this development and are acting accordingly, which resulted in Bretonian NAP. Gaian Guard is also closely tied with Bretonia and considers it their home, so to us, it makes completely sense. Corsairs are siding with GRN, which makes us move away from them more and more. That is another development imposed on us on which we are acting accordingly. Nevertheless, we do not control indies. Indies are free to do whatever they choose to, either follow our diplomacy or disregard it.

As for the question on whether we will drop this decision and make it for Gaian Guard only, that is still not decided but the chances are high that indie ID will be reverted. But the question arises, is the current Gaian ID better in its current state or with perks we have planned for it? Gaian indie ID was never a popular ID and we simply intend to move it out of the shadows of Corsair and Molly ID. What if admins do not allow implementation of these perks for indie ID as well, as it already has an extremely large ZOI(with Omegas included)? Will it be worth having Omega ZOI over it?

As for the sudden spike in usage of Gaian indie ID, I am free to discuss any ideas and interest over Gaians as a whole over Discord. You are free to join our DIscord ( https://discord.gg/WGyZZTd ) and both me and Sauron will gladly talk with you. But I'm somehow reluctant on the idea there is any kind of interest in Gaian RP from the community as I am playing Gaians ever since I joined the server (Forum acc says March 2011, but it was even earlier ), been a member of 8 Gaian factions, 4 of them official, been in command of 2. As much it is sad to say it, Gaian community always circled around few same people and I can count on the fingers of one hand how many indies I ever met.
