Far From Home
Freeport Administrator. Miner. Mercenary. Revolutionary. Terran. These all at one point defined, and some still do - Ouroboros' Exuberant Lillith, Nodoka Hanamura. Born in the Sol Sector at the tail end of the conflict between the Alliance and Coalition to Ayane Hanamura, a former Japanese supermodel and Kyle Hanamura (nee Andrews), an American naval officer within the Alliance as the couple's second child, Nodoka carried with her a laissez-faire lifestyle well into her youth, even with training from her father, that went on to inspire her to undertake an albeit, shortlived education at Tokyo University, in Military History, that she hoped could eventually find her an admiralty position within the Alliance Navy.
Along the way, dealt setbacks like her father's repeat absences to return to service, her friend Ayano's death following a tragic homicide at the hands of the Yakuza, and eventually, the invasion of the Coalition forces upon Earth, after having been liberated near the turn of the century - Nodoka would be forced to flee with her mother, younger brother Keiichi, and eldest sister, Nanami, whilst her father would captain the ANS Covington, valiantly giving his life to repel the Coalition's advance on his loved ones, and the remnants of what the free world born on Earth once had.
Upon colonization, Kusari state officials following an imperial coup, would select specimens for retainment to be experimented on, as part of any potential trials and programs - approximately 3%, of the nearly 400,000 souls aboard the Kusari colony ship. Unfortunately, Nodoka's pedigree as the daughter of a national hero earned her no mercy in this regard, as both her and her sister were put into cryostasis.
Eventually awoken in 822 AS, Hanamura had been subject to non-consensual experimentation, and the installation of a neural lace, through which, vast records of historical information were installed to bring her up to speed on the past 800 or so years. Eventually realizing her captors had no intent to let her free, she used her training under her father to escape the clutches of Kishiro Technologies' Oita, New Tokyo headquarters, where she had been transferred to.
Managing to steal credit cards from the dead bodies of Kishiro personnel she killed in self defense, she would acquire a Starflier shuttle from an underground dealer, reportedly with ties to the Hogosha. Little to Hanamura's knowledge, the shuttle once belonged to a highly reputable Kishiro AI engineer, whose creations were aboard the vessel in secret.
These creations - AI of the experimental Kishiro Lovely Sweet Dream Quantum-based Sentient Artificial General Intelligence project - K/WA-11 S/N 0027 "HONYA" and K/WA-11 S/N 0028 "PALE BRIDE" were reinitialized upon exiting New Tokyo orbit - and disabled the ship to interrogate and upon arrival of KSP Inspector Sanjiro Taniguchi, allow her to be taken into custody.
However, through pleading and interrogation of the desperate and alone Hanamura, the two AI grew sympathetic to her plight. As Taniguchi approached to capture her and the AI, Pale Bride, mastered to the fire control systems, shot and killed Taniguchi with a single Starbeam fire, penetrating and impaling his EVA suit. Now hostile to Kusari, Hanamura and the two AI would flee south to Liberty, and find sanctuary in the Pennsylvania system, working as a contractor for Orbital Spa and Cruise, often collaborating with the OSC Sasa Pinjinic.
A New Dawn
Later, upon the defection of Battlegroup Harmony from the Liberty Navy at the hands of Victoria Knight, Hanamura and the two AI, would flee the destabilized state of Liberty and head galactic east towards Rheinland. Enroute to Rheinland, she would meet Marisa Kita, a Zoner from Freeport 11, seeking to head towards Liberty. Warning her to turn away, Kita undertook Hanamura's advice, instead offering friendship and a chance to see the Sirius Sector's lesser known sights. From the gleaming system of Omega-48 and Gran Canaria, to her home of Freeport 11, to even the depths of Nomad space. Hanamura's friendship with Kita kindled into something more. But sadly, such relationship didn't last, and the two drifted apart.
Later, in 824 AS, as tensions between the Core and Zoner society in Omicron Delta came to an end, and peace between the two began, with Port Carthage, a Joint APM-Zoner installation, being formed adjacent to Freeport 11 as a token of said peace.
However, the Megalomaniacal Michal Golanski, in a betrayal of the Order's values, turned Order Overwatch's guns on Freeport 11 and its' people. Having since called the Freeport her home, Hanamura turned against the Order she once idealized, and in cooperation with Core, COF and Auxesian forces. Valiant as her, and their collective defense was - it was in vain, as Port Carthage would suffer catastrophic damage, and be lost.
Following this, the Order would demand the resignation of Kyu Akibara, then administrator of Freeport 11, as part of the Confederation of Freeports. Obliging, Akibara would step down, only for an emboldened Hanamura to take his place. Through threats against her and her loved ones by the Order, Lost Company, The Commune and the Nomads, Hanamura oversaw Freeport 11 through a transitionary period, gaining the praise of many people within Zoner society.
During this time, she would afford both Bride and Honya both lab-grown, human shells to reside in. As a result of this, the two would undertake the monikers of Jae-un Song, and Mieko Iekahara respectively.
Eventually, with the dissolution of the COF looming over the horizon, Hanamura would step down, handing over authority to Saskia Alexander, departing Freeport 11 for the last time, in 824 AS, aboard the ZCV Dragostea.
Biting the tail
Being jumped to Inverness by a THP bustard, The Dragostea would be a guest of Auxesia, being moored to the long abandoned Gaian installation, Klaskvik, long before the base would share inhabitation with a nomad presence in the nebula.
Deciding where to go from here, Hanamura's contemplations culminated in only one solution. The nation that took everything from her, that caused her successors to suffer in the name of a false emperor, the values that were reminiscent of medieval Japan more than they were of the place she called home - Hanamura turned her ire towards Kusari - and from that, Ouroboros was born.
Renaming the Dragostea to the OCS Abdicant Seraphine, the ship and her crew, gaijin and wajin alike (foreginers and Kusari natives), would wear the symbol in the hopes of establishing a better state than the others, in protest of the greed, corruption and hatred that manifested across Sirius, a progressive state that countered Kusari's regression into neo-confuscianist social values and pseudo-democratic state overseen by the Shogun.
Whilst this did not last, Hanamura was not willing to give up so easily. Eventually, as Ouroboros rebounded from the collapse of Maehara, she seeks to return again, and exact justice upon both Kusari's state, and the opportunistic GMG - even if her aspirations to put an end to the Roi and Order Overwatch never manifested as she hoped. With this, in the end, she holds out hope that dreams of her father ring true - in that her sister is still alive, somewhere in the catacombs of cryopods, somewhere within Kusari's borders - and the mystery of Lovely Sweet Dream comes to.
Medical Information:
The Medical Operations Unit have deemed Supreme Commander Hanamura to be in peak physical condition, even with her chest area carrying a sizable amount of her body weight. This has been assumed to be as a result of pre-mature advanced exercise regimen which had built up muscle tissue in the back, shoulder and chest areas prior to her current body form. This corroborates with her historical medical data which she has been able to provide.
Furthermore, the MOU has identified confirming factors of her age, namely, incorrectly being cited by Order Overwatch during a requested nomad infestation check (Which had cleared) - that Complement Component 5 was in fact a subvariant common in humans from that time, rather than being nonexistant. Her bone structure also appears to be more dense, possibly due to the nature of her planetary upbringing.
A Psychological Analysis finds her within conventional parameters, with a more maternal personality than shown on baseline tests. She seems to hold contempt towards her rivals, with some exceptions.
Created as part of the Kishiro Technologies Artificial Intelligence Labs' project codenamed LOVELY SWEET DREAM, headed by Dr. Takeo Cohen, a Breto-Kusarian Quantum Computing and Neurology scientist, alongside Dr. Suguha Aramaki, who co-led the project, Mieko is one of 52 AIs that were created as part of the LSD project, which specialized in developing a compact, multirole, and in the words of Cohen's diary - "near-perfect" AI.
Built onto the equivalent of a Terran server CPU in terms of size, and utilizing a advanced, state of the art AI Neural Network generation technique made explicitly for LSD AIs, which, were given the QPU family designation K/WA-11, made specifically for the project. Of her family, only 20 are confirmed to have successfully passed Morality testing.
Mieko, as well as her sister, Pale Bride, were to be fine-tuned and developed to promote the new project to the public, however, before it could be done. Cohen had died in a accident in New Tokyo, leaving Mieko and Bride in his ship, unbeknownst to both Kishiro and the Kusari State Police, of which, Kishiro charged to locate, to no avail.
Recovered by Nodoka Hanamura by accident after the purchase of a shuttle after her departure from Kishiro, Mieko and her sister, Bride, awoke to find that they knew nothing other than their core identities and personalities, Hesitant to follow her into Exile, Mieko decided to follow her, somehow enamored by her resistance against Kusari's support of Gallia at the time.
After fleeing Kusari, Mieko has provided invaluable intelligence, research, tactical information and intrapersonal support to Nodoka alongside her more aggressive and profane sister, Pale Bride.
Upon obtaining bodies from Ingennus Research Group as a gift from Nodoka, Mieko proceeded to adopt a proper name for herself, Mieko Iekahara, whilst retaining the name Mieko as a nickname. Not long after this, she proceeded to grow enamored with the transhumanist group Auxesia, proceeding to work with them as a member of the Secretive Task Force Strigoi, and as a Affiliate.
After the departure of Nodoka and her sister from Freeport 11, Mieko would join the two of them in founding Ouroboros, serving as a personal advisor to Nodoka, and a secondary leader of the faction.
Following the incident at FOB Maehara, Mieko was dispatched out into the greater Sirius Sector to find allies to the cause that could aid and abet the movement in Sirius' galactic west. As the Seraphine went into the black and contact was lost, Mieko resorted to the fallback plan of entering cryostasis, primarily to wait for her comrades' return.
Upon awakening in 834 AS, Mieko found herself alone, loved ones gone, with no knowledge of their whereabouts. It wouldn't be until after a memorial to them on Gran Canaria, she would be confronted by a much older Marcus Conway, and have it revealed to her the fate of the OCS Abdicant Seraphine, and the aspiration of the fleet to return, possibly by the next year.
Under Hanamura's directive, and after discussion with the last person she would have had any ties to, William Foulke, her sister's former superior in Auxesia - she would find herself in the ranks of the Auxesian paramilitary, under Leviathan's wing. However, a reality that this Leviathan, and the one she knew were not the same, began to set in, and from that, a distrust of the Inner Phalanx began to form, especially amidst rumors of Nomad infestation in the upper echelons.
Seeking to find somewhere to belong, she transferred to Task Force Prometheus, and to this day, now having been demarcated as retired from the cause, she finds herself being an important liaison betwixt Ouroboros and the Prometheans.
Although kind and innocent on the outside, when it calls for such behavior, she is not afraid to bring to bear her intellect, skill, and even hidden aggression, onto those who threaten her, her beliefs, or her friends and family.

Returning to Hanamura, Bride would find herself working under the Harpies within Ouroboros. However, following the incident at Maehara, the Harpies were forced to divest from the cause, leaving her to choose between them and Ouroboros. The choice ended up being the latter, but it was not without benefit. As the command was forced to restructure upon the fleet's return to Sirius years later, Jae-un found herself in command of Ouroboros' combat forces under the Kotetsu Fighter Brigade.
Having understood the seriousness of the matter, she sacrificed her laissez-faire, and even insubordinate behavior towards Hanamura to ensure the faction's stability - though regret still lingers in her mind over how time has slipped away from her, and left her relationships beyond the cause strained - even with her sister.
Brazen, somewhat brash, but still caring deep down, the ever radiant Pale Bride stands as a still well-respected member of Ouroboros' CENTCOM.

Born to a family of all male siblings as the youngest, Setsuna found herself being forced into a role as the family's only daughter, in the stereotypical Kusari traditional fashion - arranged marriage, possibly a dubiously consensual honeymoon encounter, pregnancy and childbirth. A sadly prominent mindset on Rural planets like Kyushu, outside of major population centers - a future she wanted no part of, and even in her teenage years, resisted to the point of near-disownment.
Following her time at Rimura High School, she would sneak out at night, and flee on a hovertrain to the nearby major town of Shiminoseki. Selling herself to get by, Kobayashi would eventually save up enough for Tuition at a nearby college at age 23, and pursue a career in Social Services. However, as the influence of Golden Chrysanthemums seeped into academia through Sororities, Setsuna would find herself invited to join a GC-backed Sorority. Unaware at that point of the GC's abettors in the Outcasts, Kobayashi would later find herself inducted into the Manabe sect after months of radicalization.
Upon the initiation ceremony, she would come to find that exposure to Cardamine was mandatory to tether and 'enlighten' girls to the cause. Exposed, and feeling betrayed and remorse, Setsuna took the first opportunity to defect from the GC. Her career aspirations in shambles, and the cause she believed in having poisoned her, Setsuna ran from Kusari, finding herself in the Sigmas, at the freshly established Freeport 8.
Once there, Setsuna was forced to return to her old ways, engaging in mankind's oldest profession to keep herself both financially sound - and alive. Between the weekly doses of Cardamine and Stabiline inhalers from seedy sources, and just trying to survive day to day, she would have an impromptu meeting with a prominent woman, Ouroboros' Nodoka Hanamura. At the Freeport's bar, Setsuna would meet her by happenstance - and seeing her destitute and suicidal state, Hanamura offered her a second chance - an ability to redeem herself, fufill her hopes to do something good for her homeland and, through Ouroboros' transhumanist aspirations, possibly seek a cure for her Cardamine ailment - as the leader of their diplomatic corps.
Whilst not a combatant in the slightest, Kobayashi's excellent reading, writing and, during her time in college, political science knowledge and skills showed her to be an excellent diplomat. She however holds a firm resentment towards the GC and Outcasts, along with anyone who strongly associates with them. Regardless, she has been trusted by Hanamura on many occasions to help act as a 'third echelon' command to oversee lesser battlespaces that don't require extensive micromanagement of forces, when not making peace with allies and potential ones as well.
Since her induction into Ouroboros, she has returned to a chaste nature, trying to be averse to things relating to her old sins, in hopes of redemption, and possibly, finding a partner for a future child who will not be subject to the chains of Kusari's ultraconservative familial doctrines.
