Subject: Parts Requisition - B907-A

Bombardier Riley here,

I recently acquired what was left of an old B-907A Crusader-class Heavy Fighter from a scrap dealer down at Invergordon. The ship had long since been stripped of every useful or valuable part. The only part that actually still worked was the tea kettle. My nephew and I have been working on rebuilding it to a spaceworthy state and upgrading it to a modern standard of performance. We're making good progress, particularly since the Minister himself has taken an interest in the project. My experience with Crusader and Templar class fighters from my time with Bowex has been most helpful.

The reason I'm calling is because I've run into some problems I can't easily solve with experience, spare parts, and a Haynes manual. The main issue has been getting a Crayterian CHN-series engine to work properly in a Crusader's hull, but I'm confident I'll get there. Or that another solution will present itself.

Where I really need help is with the cockpit avionics. Since the BAF bought back every Crusader it could find, and then either upgraded or recycled them, Crusader-specific parts have been scarce due to the lack of a market for them. As I'm sure you're well aware, the avionics package was given a comprehensive overhaul as part of the Templar upgrade program. As a result, the new parts are not easily adapted for the old design.

I'm hoping that you've still got a full cockpit avionics package sitting in a warehouse somewhere. If so, and you're willing to accept a fair price for them, please send them to Eureka Station. The crew there will handle the payment and send the parts up to Melbourne.
