Here i am afraid i must add my own little post. I tend to now average out at about 40% loss every time i play, though other online games (Red orchestra etc) all play with no decline in connection at all, leading me to think that my router is doing quite a dandy job. Will be interesting to see if any one figures any of this out.

Google WinsockXP Fix, and download it.

It fixes a lot of connection based problems.

That is actually good advice. You will want to do that. Also, are you using wireless by any chance?

Gee...Thanks. You sayin' ma otha advices aint' good?

It may or may not work with wireless connections however, I have never tried it on a wireless machine. Oh, and there is a slight chance your AV won't like you after doing it. But its slim to non.

I have tried Winsock, connection was okay during this week, BUT, today, when I logged on, its back again...
Its always the same, after logging ingame, its okay for about 5 minutes, then my loss starts going insanely high over time (from 10% to almost 40%), while ping remains the same (about 30-40ms). As I said before, everything else works allright, only FL acts weird :(

I had that kind of problems for about two weeks, but in my case, it was ISP related. I've talked to them and now it's really better.
