Halo Wars, and why it bloody annoys me

I thought it was pretty good. It was certainly no RA3 filled with retards who bum-rush your base with Sickles just for lolz. Not saying RA3 was terrible, actually I love it, but the online blows. Like all C&C games. C&C 3? Oh yes... The Nod. Scorpion tanks. Right when I've built my first units.

Anyways, if you are that easily dismayed perhaps your place in a RP community is misjudged. Just imagine all that base underneath the UNSC bases and you'll be happy.

Elephants are awesome, warthogs are awesome, everything Human is basically awesome given enough time for upgrades. The Covenant have awesome infantry and it is infinitely satisfying watching a group of Hunters ray-gun the jassy out of their enemies. The graphics are awesome, the cinematics are... GAH! Make me feel happy.

I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a tank jamming up your entire army. Maybe you have bad luck... Or a square peg for a round hole, but I haven't had any issues.

On a side note, if you're [general 'you'] one of those people who (and I make a generalized quote, the preview buzzes on EB Games are gone)

They uh... Never said it was coming to PC. In fact, the words "Exclusively for the XBox 360" were spammed throughout interviews and plastered all across magazines. But eh... Minor detail, right? And like, four years after Halo 2 came out, seeing as how that hasn't come to PC, I highly doubt they'd make 3 and skip 2.

So yes. In a nutshell, use your imagination if you're really that disappointed with whats on the surface. I think there is supposed to be an implied complexity, what with buildings coming up from the ground.

I think people have been hearing too many negative things from their peers and go into it with the desire to hate it, and thus root out every tiny insignificant (lets be real about this) detail and then go to school to giggle and talk smack about its creators.

At least, thats what I've gathered from where I live.

For instance! My friend, "Omgzaqthatsuxomgomgsuxorzliekomgnowai" because he was disappointed that 30 Warthogs with Chain Guns weren't able to take out a Covenant base. I then proceeded to show him how intense playing on Heroic was (this was when only the demo existed) and he then reformulated an opinion.

Oh Magoo!, I know I'm nitpicking on whats on the surface, but the surface is a fair bit, I'm trying to love the game, I'm replaying the campaign again to get those skulls and black boxes, then I might play on legendary, god help me.

God damn man this what they should do,
bring Halo wars out on PC so it will then be incredible BUT so Only xbox owners can play it they should send a code like you normally get on game mauals, but send to everyone who owns a xbox via xbox LIVE messaing, i know non xbox live users wont be able to play halo wars but face it they cant be a too big a halo fan without the joy of halo online!

But to get this code you must send a message to bungie and they then send a message back, with a Unique 24 digit code, but once the code has been used once it should not be usable again or if you loose the game and need to re-install it you should then pay gamerscore for codes then after it, but only like 200 so its not much but then so people can't buy loads and sell them to damn PS3 owners
