Cannot start DSUpdate

I need some help.

The Discover 4.85 beta's readme text file says to start it ONLY USING DSUpdate.exe

When I start up the DSUpdate.exe application, it says it cant find the "libcurl.dll" dll file.

I tried backing up the file, deleting it out of the EXE folder, and pasting it back in, and it didn't work.

Help me, please! :(

What O/S are you using?

How did you install the mod? If using FLMM what version are you using?

Is the file libcurl.dll present in the exe folder?

How do you run the DSUpdate.exe? By clicking on it in the exe folder or by using a shortcut to it?

If you run Freelancer.exe directly does this work?

If using vista, are you running DSUpdate.exe with the "run as administrator" box ticked? (right click on the file and select properties - you'll need to do the same for Freelancer.exe)

There's a shortcut in the Freelancer folder that you can use to start it - try that. If you're still stuck, then just run Freelancer.exe directly.
